Quick heads up Jamel. Preston first met the Beatles in 1962, but his "Fifth Beatle" claim originated in January 1969 when Harrison invited him to join them for recording sessions in order to defuse tensions in the band. I LOVE your channel! Keep up the GREAT Reactions!

We used to practice at the lead guitarist and drummer's house (they were brothers and shared a bedroom). Their house didn't have a garage. We threw their mattresses up against the walls to deaden the sound and crammed four guys and our equipment into that bedroom, playing elbow-to-asshole. At one point, we talked about adding a keyboardist and a dedicated vocalist until I said, "Nope. We could never fit them into this bedroom."

I got a funny story... I met a guy who said his father was working on Billy Preston's album... And he said that he was enthralled with Billy's presence AND afro... All of a sudden...my friend was watching Billy perform and then when Billy was done singing...he looked at my friend and pulls his afro off!!! It was a wig the whole time! I always liked this song for many reasons...one of them being that the piano was almost ragtime feel to it...
