@@fitenitetodaytonite7925 that is the camera and filming and has nothing to do with the editing and being able to seamlessly cut and stitch all the various video clips together to tell an entertaining and possibly educational story. That’s not an easy thing to do and is more of a gift and art than anything. The video being dark under the car in the shop or inside of the car as they are talking at night is a factor of the camera being able to perform in low light conditions. Some cameras are better than others for that. Some adjustments can be made to help but there are limits. It’s just gonna be one of those things that we have to learn to live with cause it’s just not possible for the boys or Allison to film everything with three different cameras all the time. What these kids are able to do and produce with The equipment they have Is fricn amazing!!! I was a cameraman and editor for a cable TV station in the early to mid 80s and it boggles my mind as to what they accomplish with the equipment they have. Tommy has a definite gift when it comes to the editing and Is nothing short of an artist !!

Come on guys, it had GT40s and a E cam. I know the Malibu doesn't have big dollar shit on it but it's not Vortecs and a LT4 hot cam is it? That would be a fair comparison. Ffs an E cam can barely be considered an "upgrade" for any car that's gonna rev above 4500 😂 Up to this point the Malibu had a plain advantage over the Mustang in terms of hardware, that's just a fact.

Hey two suggestions that worked very well for me are a swivel for the chain where it goes to the engine hoist so it doesn't twist and mess you up when you're trying to put the engine in, and I spot welded a little handle on the relief valve of the engine hoist so you don't have to keep using the bar to tighten and loosen it. Both of those helped me out a lot

On that second pass Billy for sure hit the rev limiter on the 1-2 shift. The RPM range on that cam is 2500-6000. You need to start your shift at 5500 because by the time you actually make the shift you will be close to 6000. Shifting at 7000 takes you way out of the power range for that cam and is actually slowing the car down. Try your way and then the way I said to do it. Let the Draggy speak for its self!!

When I had my 84 fox body that I built a 347 stroker with a B303 cam and let's say it was in only long enough to get it broken in and I yanked it out, I went with a comp cam, don't remember the spec's but I shifted at 7200-7400 RPM and I still have the time slips from dragway 42 11.23 to 11.38 and that was fast back in 2000 for an N/A

I'm not a Ford guy at all I've been a Chevrolet fan my whole life. That is one very clean car. That engine looks phenomenal. Hope it runs how it looks. Man even with the twisted wedges and stage two its not on the same level. I had a 331 with that same head/cam combo and went to a stock bottom 351w with a comp roller and afr 185s and picked up 2 seconds. Sold that car what feels like a million years ago.

Car engines are basically air pumps. The more air you can pump the more horsepower you can make. If you have a small engine you have to turn more rpms to pump more air than the bigger engines and you have to gear your car to take advantage of those higher rpms. I was a big fan of Pro Stock drag racing back when Warren Johnson was outrunning everybody with with his Oldsmobile. Those cars had 500 cubic inches, made around 1200hp with carbs and had manual transmissions. Warren Johnson said their overall gear ratio in 1st gear was about 12 to1 and he spent over $25k a year on valve springs because he changed them after after every run. That 302" Ford needs to turn a lot more rpms and have lower rear end gears to be competitive.

Problem is, that 302 won't turn up much more than it is now and stay alive, especially being a stick. You could do some head and cam work to make better but its gonna be a fun street car with nitrous as it is now. Once it's ironed out a lil, it will be a tough car to deal with on a tire. He just needs to turn down laugh rpm, hook the car, and USE the BUTTON to control it a bit and get it to '60 anywhere. I f'd up many people with a 302 coupe mustang, almost just like this!

Damn I did it again it hit it before I was finished writing ì was saying I hope the car ìs running alòt better with the upgrades I know those heads and cam wasn't cheap I am sure the heads are better I did think you would have went with a solid roller o just bought solid rollers for my big block I do have a hydraulic cam but my engine guy told me the car will Rev better and be more responsive with the solid lifters and he said he seen motors pic up to 30 more hp on his dyno he also said that if you put a daily indicator on it that the lift readings are all over the place with hydraulic lifters. If you went with the TFS stage one cam you definitely will be losing power shifting near 7k. Guarantee if you dyno it your peak will be around 5800-6200. Sounds and looks good Billy. Nice to see some love being given to the fox.
