My wife died of cancer on our 12th anniversary in May 2022. This song deeply expresses so many of my emotions. Things I don’t even know how to express. Especially captures the gratitude I have for 12 years with my soul mate. Thank you, Billy.

@markknox24603 жыл бұрын
@Infamous Grizzly I've heard that said, but as far as I can tell, Billy has been very clear about where the 33 comes from. His Grandpa was a race car driver and his car's number was 33. Just saw recently that Billy now sponsors an IMCA modified car. Seems anyone with even an ounce of fame needs to find one of the 4 possible numbers that don't somehow align them with Freemasonry, to appease the "everyone is a Freemason" cult.

@wiggyandtaco3 жыл бұрын
saw him play this at the mission in Colorado on Sunday. Never cried that hard to a song before. The line "not sure if i deserve, all the love that I receive, so i give it all to her" was what got me. I think alot of people can relate to this feeling of receiving unlimited love from everyone around you and feeling guilty about the past. Wondering if you deserve any of this love, because of wrongdoings in the past. When it just becomes too much, you just need to give it away. I think everyone deserves a second chance, at life, at love, and at friendship. You can always change the person you are. Nothing is ever permanent. Each and every moment is different from the last. Its called a renewal and thats what its all about. Thank you Billy for this masterpiece!

I had the same reaction as you did. I was shocked at Billy's vulnerability. Bluegrass definitely has a heartbreak component to it, but this had such a depth, the sharing of innermost feelings of love and fears of rejection. Those feelings of, "Am I enough?" And paired with such divine music. I'm actually just kind of stunned right now.

It was so powerful to watch. Nancy like his wife is now gone but our memories live on forever. She would want me to be happy not sad and enjoy my life but there’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think about her and I’m sure this will never change. We laughed a lot together I’m laughing with her still - she’s still here with me …….
