The lyrics, the stellar transcendent playing by all members, Billy’s vocals, the totally mind melting light show and the ultra heady, super kind and earthy tour scene. Felt like a new spring, a new season of renewal of everything into cherished and had missed about the best aspects of Grateful Dead tour. And then it dawned on me…..he’s just getting going. His best is still ahead for decades to come. He’s legendary now, imagine when he’s an elder…3O or 40 years deep as a touring artist. @@oleslewfoot91 True but a bluegrass Grammy doesn't exactly get you massive publicity and recognition. It's what usually mentioned in passing as the come back from commercials and they give it to them earlier in the show and in his case over a video call or something if I remember correct. Fortunately we now live in a world where If you are talented enough you dont need awards and radio play etc. to get a huge following but the problem in my mind is that there just aren't a ton of people anymore who appreciate or pay attention to bluegrass. And don't get me wrong I'm not arguing with you, you are correct I'm sure he's doing just fine I just see a guy who is incredibly talented and if I asked 100 people around me any givin time if they know who he is I bet I don't get 10 that do but if I asked those same 100 people if they know who insert crappy dipshit rapper with only enough talent to ryhme some words together, wich I know also takes talent but nothing on the level of artistry that Billy displays and I bet over half or 3/4 know who they are even if they don't like rap. Didn't mean for this reply to be so long sorry. Just wish more people could appreciate the mans talent like I do but I know he's doin alright. 👍
