Absolutely! I couldn’t have said it better. I love the fact he sings bluegrass like the oldtimers used to do. Totally love it!

Billy is the torch carrier. Jerry was a bluegrass picker before the Grateful Dead paved the road of what a traveling group of hippies would look like. Phish overlapped and took reign when Jerry passed. Many band line the biscuits and cheese had their shot but nothing really took hold in the same manner. And now here we are. Over 50 years later and Billy is not only going to be the one to revive a lot scene for the next generation but he is also bringing it full circle back to the Bluegrass Jerry and The Grateful Dead (Warlocks) started with all along.

Hilarious lyrics. Billy has created a new musical genre: slacker gospel 😂

Are we not all slackers under God? When you and me typed these messages God said "Do something!" 😊 I like a lot of the things about this song!

@@KimiWallrusIt's my current fave by Billy. Sounds like classic bluegrass gospel (eg standing in the need of prayer) with irreverent lyrics. Saw it live in Atlanta and it blew me away.
