Everyone hating on their newer albums. They changed styles and Dead Silence from a technical point of veiw was probably their best album. All their albums are loved by critics and generate thousands of new fans.
@davelovesdrums3 жыл бұрын
Agreed. I actually probably love Dead Silence the best and I've loved them since Billy Talent I. It's less raw but the songs are fantastic and maybe a bit darker? If I had to rank them right now (at least by which albums I listen to the most), it would probably go Dead Silence I II Afraid Of Heights III (this is the only BT album I was a bit disappointed with)

its not hilarious. Lots of their songs are about ec girlfriends and just shitty people.

I always find his lyrics hilarious first off, but I think that's the point Neverwinding. Thats his territory. He is the one who writes the songs about the shit people because he's the actual honest one. And very satirical :P
@Neverwinding10 жыл бұрын
***** I meant it makes him look like a hypocrite. The songs itself doesn't trash his ex that much, but if you`re a fan and you watch their concerts you should know he trash talks her before every "The Ex" they play live, so I do find it hiliarous, but in the kind of funny way :).
@Neverwinding10 жыл бұрын
Bobby Soto I didn't mean't hiliarous in a bad way, I just find it funny :P. Of course he's the artist so he`s entitled to write songs about whatever he wants, if she cheated on him she trully deserves every verse of it anyway :).

It was on their Try Honesty LP. It sounds kinda "gay" because it's kinda going back to their old ska roots, which was the genre of their old band Pezz. But it also has the idea of their new style, especially in the chorus, whereas the verse is more like the old them. Listen to the song 'Nita' by Pezz. It's still them, but different genre. And it's sooo funny!

"Do it again" She said to me. So I nailed my hand to the baseboard floor. Hysterically, Laughing at me, She begged the question and I begged for more. Now I water, The thorn you rammed, Deep into my side watch it fertilize. 'Cause you shoved your finger, Right down my throat, And you made me puke up all of my pride. Pop the beach balls, Burn the photos, C-4 your safe, And you'll never grow old. So get out of dodge, And become a thought, Cause once you’re a thought, hopefully you're forgot. If we break up, Don’t write a song that would, Drag my name through the shit, the mud. 'Cause I’ve seen some solid swimmers who drowned, When you unleashed the dam and cause the flood. But with free choice, There comes freewill. And I’m so happy she decided to leave, 'Cause now I’m alone. The demons come home And now my pen is rolling up it’s sleeve. Pop the beach balls, Burn the photos, C-4 your safe, And you'll never grow old. So get out of dodge, And become a thought, 'Cause once you’re a thought, hopefully you're forgot. Pop the beach balls, Burn the photos, C-4 your safe, And you'll never grow old. So get out of dodge, And become a thought, 'Cause once you’re a thought, hopefully you're forgot. Because my morals have begun to decay, And all my friends have the same thing to say. They say that good times have faded away. They say that their all worried about me. 'Cause I feed birds in the cemetery, And I rake leaves off the grass in my grave. Because my memory lane is now paved. (Nothing wrong) My memory lane is now paved. (There’s nothing wrong) My memory lane is now paved. My memory lane is now paved. (There’s nothing wrong) But now my memory’s back and there’s nothing wrong! There’s nothing wrong. There’s nothing wrong. There’s nothing wrong. There’s nothing wrong. I said there’s nothing wrong! There’s nothing wrong. There’s nothing wrong. There’s nothing wrong.
