Billy Connolly, the perfect blend of rock'n'roll, music, poetry, comedy and yet so human, so down to earth. So in touch with who he is and where he came from. Billy you will always be the ultimate working class hero to me, I laugh and cry in almost equal measure to your material, and will always aspire to your enthusiasm for life and all which it contains. You give hope to so many, probably unknowingly because you remain so humble, almost vulnerable and yet so vibrant and hungry for a life most of us will never experience. One in a million. Love you Big Yin x

All three of you are right. I explained to my daughter who he was after we'd watched 'A Series of Unfortunate Events', she said he seems like the best Uncle ever; she was only 6 at the time. We then watched lots of videos of his stand up and telly shows. He is loved in our house, as he is in millions of homes around the world. Long live Billy.

Billy I love your jokes but Stick to comedy you would never made it as a singer ... 😂
@Sierra-bw4gm2 жыл бұрын
Well he would never have came too comedy, without being a folk singer first. He also has a UK No1 single, so it really depends on what you mean, by not making it as a singer.
@christinecatt53912 жыл бұрын
I'm trying to be nice...but with a name like Massab...well really you should refrain from commenting on things you apparently know nothing about. Early in Billy's career as a folk singer he recorded a song called Tennessee love song...l think that was the title..? Lovely song he wrote himself ... Listen to it...it's brilliant. !!
@grahamstretch68632 жыл бұрын
Duh! He made it as a singer already! My Billy experience started in 74 / 75 with some of his comedy songs, “if it wasnea for yer wellies” D.I.V.O.R.C.E. etc then his comedy followed.
