Me and a bunch of random came together to build a small FOB not too far from a VC controlled area and when we attacked the VC area a lot of them ended up going past us and attacking the FOB. Once we retreated and took those guys out they just kept coming in waves for at least 20 minutes. It's fun as fuck.

@@LegacyProduction2013 No problem, I'm sure you'll have fun. Be aware that a lot of servers use TFAR if you don't have that; its pretty easy to find servers not using it though.

I've heavily disliked all ARMA games post OFP, imo the janky engine works best with lower tech gear. The dynamic campaign looks amazing and i'm so glad to see an M16 again!

7:20 I disagree. The food and water system makes it to were Logistics actually come into play for the fly boys and ACAV to deliver to the Mike force players. They can’t just stay indefinitely in the Field, they need a life line. It also adds a level of planning and immersion to the missions. You feel like a grunt in Vietnam that needs to bring his supply’s on long missions.

I personally think it adds absolutley nothing, there is still purpose to logistics without the food and water, arma is a game about combat... Not about eating and drinking.

Personally i found playing as a transport pilot the most fun in this gamemode compared to any other. Were not relied entirely just for bringing people to and from points, but also the recovery/transport of supplies and wreaks. Never got around Infantry combat but night-ops is hectic which i love.

As one of the ground forces, you guys are always a God sent to us. Without those hot LZ deliveries you guys pull off we will get overrun. And yeah, night combat is hectic since we don't have NVGs. It's raining flares everywhere haha.

Hey @BillyEatWorld . It was a fun run the other night. Briman here. I don't understand why Bohemia don't do the engine upgrade they did for DayZ. Under the hood they're basically the same , but DayZ now runs so much better as a result. But I suppose they're holding onto that card for version 4.

My biggest issue with night gameplay is the fact that our player models have a chest mounted flashlight that we can’t turn on. It’s so annoying that we have to equip a flashlight as a secondary just to see without flares.

you can still send feedback to the dev they will probably see it but i agree it would be great to have a helmet mounted flashlight or being able to use the torso flashlight but hell RTO have the option to have mortar or 105mm shooting light but yeah a minute is pretty long and the enemy as the time to move

Would be in for a big fleshed out SP campaign. Looks amazing but seems wasted on "game modes" and MP where youre not likely going to have a rewarding experience. Really have no idea how to get back into into Arma these days, being an SP kinda guy.

after seeing the crap they are putting out in the last 3 or 4 years.. it was easy back into ARMA III with all the mods out.. and I build my own missions and play them.. sometime with a friend when we both have all the same mods in.. I have about 210 mods installed.. the Nam DLC is great.. I love the F4 Phantom to start with ... I was so tired of the garbage that Battlefield became.. it was patched to oblivion.. guns neutered and tanks and jets and helicopters that grow new ammo a guy that runs all over with a magic box of never ending ammo.. just got tired of the arcadish crap BF became.. don't even get me started on COD crap same guns FOREVER!! but you can get a pink skin and a rainbow unicorn for it... G'z Rainblow suks hasn't been good since Redstorm left just my thoughts...lol sorry....

To be honest @Bruno Londinese it's one of the best multiplayer/co-op experiences I've had in years. It's very immersive and quite intense, and I believe that your average MP spoiler will not perservere with it, as it's quite difficult and probably too slow for them. I generally dislike most MP, but really enjoy this, especially the co-op, as the AI is very good and the battles are hard.

Anyone still wondering, SOG is the best DLC to come to arma in a long time and it continues to show why its worth every penny weve spent on it. Bronation has a 24/7 vietnam liberation like server that has a huge community. See yall there

You can't joing games on the Cam Lao Nam map with just the comp. mod, where the Mike Force game mode is currently only supported.

you should point that if you finish the campaign of the server they will launch a new one and you old progression will be reset

The night combat without NVG is more exciting I would say. Either you recon fire to present yourself and draw the enemies fire to know their location or listen closely and see if they are near once you are out of flares or support for it isn't available. The tracer fire and shooting at muzzle flashes is exciting.

Can someone please explain to me how the quality is so crisp? Whenever i record something in arma, its horrendously blurry. someone told me it was the grass but he has grass on and it looks great

Mike force is fun but it sucks that you can’t use anything in the mode unless you join discord, which for some reason won’t work for me lmao so I’m stuck with the slicks

They should add some kind of "Redeploy of Squad Leader" incase a player wants to be a Pilot, just to drop off the players once, then teleport to the front lines. This'll help with small player games (4 - 7)

You need to join a private server they actually organize multiplayer operations / these mike force games. Arma 3 is not really meant to be a public pick up game. There are a ton of good ones out there check them out!

Mike Force may not be perfect but it's the best game mode to have especially for a more casual public server, it's going to be epic if and when we get the mode gets released to be used in different time periods

When he captured these clips our peak was maybe 7 players? One in a chopper flying cas and transport and the other in a phantom. Eventually we were down to around five and still clearing objectives so it’s definitely doable

It’s just what most people chose to wear, you can pick from multiple different uniforms like EDRL, olive drab, and tiger stripe. Sometimes you’d see people wearing similar outfits to Rambo or Woods from black ops lol

You can with the workshop version being released. But you can only have the ai teammates if you have smth like MCC Sandbox for example so you can have Zeus

I don't understand how people can play this gamemode. We can't even complete the first objective because we get overwhelmed by literally hundreds of enemy AI. 20 minutes of gameplay and between three players we have 160~ kills. It's impossible to complete any of the objectives because we keep being overwhelmed by never ending respawns of enemy squads. I don't think this is normal?

Whats your CPU? I'm getting lows of 20fps but mostly 40-60 on a 1060 and a ryzen 5 2600. It's more about the CPU with ARMA.
