LITERALLY, there was no reason to get out Grett other than shock value. They made Connor leave due to his injury, they made Jake and Ally fight again, her elimination made no sense in terms of story or character 😭😭😭

I can accept this elimination, it's not as frustrating as the others, well other than the fact Riya is in the finals again. Regardless, I hope Ally wins at this point, I don't know what happened to Jake this episode.

I might have been at least semi-okay with Jake winning had his behavior kept improving, but after the shit he pulled in this one, he just does not deserve to win. No matter what his (extremely toxic) fans say. To give him the win after this would just be pandering, at this point.

This episode made me wonder why would the writers regress jake's development for an inconsistent, not complex bitch to win. I was rooting for him to grow and now this happens. I will still root for him to win cuz Connor left. This episode truly tells that the writers favor Riya the most. Yes she is the villain but that role can be replaced by any other villain from the villains alliance.

I think the writing was a little odd but i don't mind that much, ally was written weird for me, but that could just be my opinion! I feel like Jake just needed to learn to control his emotions and think a little more logically which is good a lot of people never do that

Ally better win after this episode. Jake was insufferable and imo he does not deserve to win at all. He made no strategic moves by himself and was acting like a child for 60% of the season. He is the sole reason why Riya is in the finale now instead of Connor. Ally has to take this crown👑

Episode 18 was the perfect episode to set-up Ally’s Win. We got some key moments that really hint towards her win. Once again Jake also proves why he will always be a HORRID character.

In all honestly to me BOTH Jake and Ally fucked up this episode by Ally shocking Jake first, in which she should have known that he would get her back for it and Jake shocking Ally before she could win. Do not say that only Jake messed up it’s the fact that both of them.

@mrfuzz241 Messing with someone who is supposed to be your teammate during a challenge because they broke a game you made, which Jake didn’t even do is not at all a valid reason for Ally to shock Jake when she should put that aside for the greater good. Like if your teammate keeps on stabbing you in the back how can you trust or better yet keep working with them. Also I just want to say but a lot and I mean a lot of people care that Ally sent Jake to close death with a bear.

@@michaelonyeali7086 Honestly, you need to blame the writers instead of saying 'but Ally's just as bad' The writers decided to undo all of Jake's development just to have Riya in the finale and to give Connor a cool moment. IDK what they were smoking, but given the fact that Jake has been the obvious winner since day 1, this was a horrible writing decision. Meanwhile, Ally hasn't been that bad these last two episodes if anything she's been pretty rootable and yet the fanbase keeps hating on her over the bear thing, big woop Jake has a whole list of things he's done, Ally has like 2 bad moments.... And she does not get the same level of excuses and favoritism that Jake does. Like the standards people have for Ally as a character is ridiculous, meanwhile Jake can get away with almost anything and his fans always justify it. I was fine with a Jake win because it's the only one that made sense until this. Now I think Ally the dark horse route is much better from a writing standpoint. After Jake shocked her and kept throwing digs at her after the challenge, Ally hasn't argued back or stooped to his level anymore, she genuinely took Connors advice. Jake took this 1 challenge win from her, if she leaves empty handed it would leave a bad taste in my mouth ngl...But I don't think DC will take that risk since every1 hates Ally, they will play it safe and go with Jake win.

Me but with Ally. I've always found her cringe and despised her, but once she became Riyas underling I knew she'd make it far into the game. Now her and Riya are going to the finally, which both have very similar characters. They eliminated Conner very unceremoniously when they could have gotten rid of him in the horse episode do they could keep Riya around for the final, despite her having already been in the season two finale. I'm honestly hoping Jake wins. He's the only remotely likable finalist. Her arc this season was to stop caring what haters think of her, yet she is still desperate for approval from Ashley, Riya and Conner. She also left Jake to die with a bear but called riya underhanded when she pushed Conner off the horse.

Deep down I think ally is a good person. I think she got corrupted by taking advice from riya, which could've been executed better but who cares (like the whole bear thing was definitely not a good light to ally and idk why they thought that would make her more rootable) and this episode I do think she took what Connor said to heart. She did struggle a bit at first but I think when Connor talked to her in the maze that's when it snapped. After that point, even though jake shocked her and was kind of rude to her with the whole "I will go get water for him" and "of course you respect it, you were out tonight!" or something like that, she didn't really provoke argument back, so I think she is a good person who just got temporarily corrupted by Riya. The problem is they did it wayyy too late and gave the spotlight to other arcs that didn't need it, main example being Connor and ally or jake and aiden (no hate to those plots they just dragged on). Ally is meant to have good morals, or at least a morally grey character, but the rushed arc completely ruins the character development she was meant to go through! (Sorry this was long I'm just really passionate about Ally LOLLLLL)😅😅
