I stumbled across this video just after you posted it and decided to try it since I was not seeing results from any other feeding method. I would have to battle my fish if I used pellets and some corals would never give a feeding response at all. After a couple weeks of doing it this way, all of my corals, even my ricordea's give an aggressively active feeding response. I have seen a significant improvement in polyp extension and color as well. This has even saved my Sun Coral as I always had a hard time feeding it. Thank you!

you can activate other corals feeding response by putting a tiny bit of reef roids in the tank while the flow is going. turn off pumps and feed acans and stuff first, by the time you finish, candy canes and chalices should have their feeders out.

OMG I make it thick as well! So many people use the long feeding syringes and you just see them let out what looks like smoke or something with no consistency! The only thing is some of the corals dont seem to have a mouth and thinking that maybe I should do it that way for those corals and maybe they can absorb it better through their flesh. Like sps and my lobos, symphyllia and chalice. I love the syringe tip you use, looks like you can get around to some difficult to reach polyps with that. I think I saw one on amazon but didint really think how well it would work. Did you get it off amazon? The syringe I use is unable to suck up the thicker food I make as well so I have to add water and then I add the reef roids powder directly in the syringe and shake it up or use a pipette to stir it. I cant say whether or not it has increased growth because I have always done it that way and still pretty much a newbie as well! Love your channel!
