What Lens Do you Like? Prime or Zoom? WHY? Drag & Drop Text Effect Pack: bit.ly/2sPlNCM
@VentusMedia4 жыл бұрын
Billy Rybka Zoom day to day but prime in low light or when I need that extra quality/bokeh.
@BillyRybka4 жыл бұрын
I totally agree with that. Especially the low light stuff, zoom lenses dont have the best low light capabilities so thats when the prime come in
@matrixfreak4444 жыл бұрын
zoom is way better for event/run and gun shooting but primes force you to get creative with your shots cause you're stuck at one focal length
@caderade10604 жыл бұрын
i use a prime and i'm in love with it...although a zoom has a better variety of different shots sooo idk...probably prime just because that's what i'm used to
@KevinStudent4 жыл бұрын
Billy Rybka zooms and primes for different things! Zooms are the Swiss Army knife, but having really fast lenses is nice for primes!

Maaaan! Once again, I wasn’t too interested in the specific thing in this tutorial, but I just learned about dragging a time adjusted clip to shorten it/increase speed. I knew that functionality existed somewhere and I probably could have looked it up, but I was doing it a way more clunky/inexact way before. Thank you!!!

Nice work again, Billy! +1 I like how you kept things out of the Fusion page. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
@BillyRybka4 жыл бұрын
No problem man! Just so you are aware. I do tend to focus on the fusion tab more than not because a lot of people are scared of it. So one of my goals is to show people that it's not scary and it can actually be used as a really good after effects replacement :)
@nategordon4 жыл бұрын
hiya Billy. thanks for responding! my laptop PC crashes the moment i click on Fusion, so (for the time being) i've hidden the tab. an accidental click has meant like 2 hours (it's happened a few times) of restarting the SW and trying to quickly make a change to pull the auto-save out of Fusion. this is the only reason i am "afraid" of it. ;) i've been editing for almost a year, so yes...some of your likes have come from me. i know you are a magician w/ the Fusion tab. happy holidays!!

good morning Billy! thanks for the offer, but i think it's just the 16GB RAM in my laptop that is clogging the drain, so i don't think it's a setting (or similar). it'll crash as soon as i click on the Smooth Cut transition as well. your videos are great! keep 'em coming!!

How to make a cut in the edit tab (know how to do it in the cut tab)
@burhanaltncan45274 жыл бұрын
Zoom lenses. Specifically Sigma 18-35 and 50-100. Just because they are f/1.8.
@Nimiety3274 жыл бұрын
I have no clue what the difference between a prime lens and a zoom lens is. I expect a lot of people that watch videos like this are into filming, photography and so on. However, you will also get people who are pure editors. I don't care about recording stuff, only editing it. So i tend to be rather ignorant when it comes to types of cameras, types of lenses, so on and so on. I doubt i'm the only one here with that limitation. Good video though.
@BillyRybka4 жыл бұрын
Its all good man, yeah a lot of people here are into filmmaking as well as editing. I will keep that in mind when I think of questions to ask Miles :) thanks man!
