I had some issues with this but managed to get it to work so I’ll share, once you add b-spline a lot of people have posted about the sequence not playing and the planar tracker going red. If you remove the background arrow line then reapply it your original footage should re appear, I then would start b spline masking( where I want it to start ) and mask, the object will appear solid so uncheck that. Then just add border width and it should work when you press play, then I tweaked it from there. Not too sure why it does this but it 100% does work and this tutorial is amazing ! Just make sure you can see the original footage then mask, uncheck solid, add a border width and play 👌 hope this helps anyone

Very useful tutorial man, appreciate you! The problem with fusion for me is adding multiple effects. I wanted to have multiple lines criss-cross inside the lines I created, but fusion is just obtuse and weird so when I added a second merge with a different animation it just freaked out and wouldn't render anything. It's too finicky. People say just learn it but I say why don't they make it not the stupidest thing ever? It's 2021, we should be in the age of UI/UX now instead of these techie guys just asking us to figure out how to use 11 different menus with action buttons that have no tooltip and wheels and numbers that aren't explained. I'm so glad you do what you do and give us these useful tutorials but you shouldn't have to, this should be much much easier to do.

Hey, I saw a video by Cinecom.net, it was about reverse stabilization and how you can use it too add effects on a face for example. If you want to have a custom mouth planted on a face and be perfectly still.

Video title: "*Easily* Create SICK Animated Outlines In Davinci Resolve!" Video: Ok so basically what you wanna do is create 7 fusion nodes...
@TibzzTube4 жыл бұрын
NHF but 7 nodes is really nothing. Most basic animation comps are easily over 15 nodes.
@SomeRandomCuber14 жыл бұрын
@@TibzzTube well yeah but like that's bc half of those are usually merges, here it's 7 nodes stacked for that one clip, one of them being a tracker which is pretty complicated i think. This is just meant to be one of those fusion beginner memes, ik 7 nodes would usually be pretty easy lol. What's NHF?

I JUST switched to Resolve after 12 years working in Vegas and I feel like I've entered a whole new universe. I am gonna have so much fun with this. Especially since I just got a new drawing tablet, masking should be a breeze

Every time i watch a video on this channel i learn fast! So if you want to change the color afterwards, you just change the background color? I wanna use it for road maps to point out the route. Thanks again!
