When I listened to this song for the first time I bawled. I come from a military family. My great grandpa is a vetinam, WWII, and Koran war veteran. My cousin is deployed right now and a couple of my uncles were in the military. The thought of losing my cousin while he is deployed is heartbreaking. This song hits you even harder than most when you have a loved one in the service.

I wish everyone had a daddy like mine. I'm 1 of 12,the only girl, to a Native American dad. Now that he's gone, I realize at 51 that I was given the best lessons and most beautiful nurturing that a father could give. My regret is that his grandchildren won't know that first hand.
