Oh, he is indeed! I've met Christian and have a picture with him. Benefits of working in Country Radio. lol. But The House Rules is an amazing song. Turning Circles and More Than I Deserve are really beautiful, as well. This was years ago but I had a really good relationship with his local rep who'd bring him out to stations. He called and told me he was bringing someone in and he's like "I doubt you'll know him but his name is Christian Kane." And I was immediately like "The Christian Kane?? The one from Angel??" And he was like "Ok, I guess you do know him." It was super funny. Being a massive Joss Whedon fan I knew exactly who he was.

This is my one and only song that gets me through the toughest times in my life...... and I mean it..... it has been the worst shit, one after the other, the past 20 years were nothing but extreme lows and highs, and lows and highs again. But I persevered, kept my discipline, and always kept in the back of my mind, that there's always bound to be someone out there who has it far worse than I do. I should just be grateful for what I have and not waste any of what I've been given, what was invested in me, or what I've built up. And as long as I draw breath, have my wits and sanity, have my feet to put one in front of the other, have my hands to do the lifting......... I'll get by, just fine.

The only problem with the argument is that other people may have it worse than you, Is that I feel it invalidates what you're feeling. This happens a lot whenever I have some sort of pain in my body and my husband tries to invalidate me because of all the pain hes been through. That doesn't mean that I don't get to feel my pain and complain about it. My daughter was stillborn at 38 weeks. It took us 10 years to finally become pregnant. And while sometimes I wish I didn't have that problem, I have done the things and met people I wouldn't have otherwise. Don't get me wrong I truly wish I had my daughter here. I didn't know what it felt like to have this level of grief. But I also don't wish this pain on Anyone else.
