So this song is from her first album, and I pretty much know every word. However, I haven’t heard it in quite a while, and listening to it now totally struck me. I’m the girl in this song. The line about pouring raindrops back into a cloud? You’re right, it is deep, and so true. It’s like, you can keep putting them back, but they’re still going to fall again. When you’re in a toxic relationship, you can keep trying to fix it, but that toxic person is never going to change. Good call on that deep lyric.

We led prayer groups, Bible Studies together. Then one day, he wanted a divorce. I WAS FLOORED. Turns out he had been living a double life for years. Many other women. Our daughter has some special needs, but, was he was gone, he was gone from her also. He cut his only child from his life. Her mental/emotional health are hanging by a thread.
