Gotta watch that guy. 😉 He's full of surprises. There's a video of Dimash swimming in a pool. He's on his tummy with his face under the water. He swims slowly the entire length of the pool that way. Holding his breath. It was timed at 38 seconds! It is known that he has practiced holding his breath in exercises for a long time now. When he's singing, it's amazing to see how he applies this training to his music. Especially when he can throw so much power behind it. Please check out "All By Myself" for more powerhouse explosions. Also "Earth Song" (by MJ). He sings it with Victor Ma. Victor does some terrific rapping in this version. Great, great duet!!! Hey Billy! I've been browsing Dimash's songs, as I always do and it just dawned on me to mention "Dimash Gakku Concert Unforgettable Day" to you. This is an open-air concert held in Kazakhstan. Dimash was the headliner for this concert. And there were 150,000 people there! This information is stated in the Wikipedia article about Dimash. In this song, Dimash hits his D8 whistle note. Often referred to as a dolphin whistle. This note is, so far, the highest note that has been actually recorded (higher than Maria Carey's). Just thought you might be interested in checking this video out. Hope you do. He also does a great cover of Lionel Richie's HELLO with extreme vocals at the end of the song.
