@9:27 after you have added 'position_zero' parameter to the 3 points, you zoom in and the step is missing. It took me a bit but in the properties of those points you changed the Graphics -> Show Reference Planes -> Always -> Apply
@NonStopLearning1013 жыл бұрын
yes, you're correct. select the point and go to properties and in "Show Reference" dropdown, select Always. I only zoom in to select the point, you did not miss any step.

Thank you very much for the tutorial. I managed to do everything okay in imperial measurements, yet on my 4V sphere, 1 panel has gaps that doesn't completely enclose the sphere. Do you want what may be wrong? My Sphere_radius is at 50'.

The rectangle that appears after you press Family 3. The one you do to intercalate the three rectangles at the same point

5:21 I'm having trouble whenever I define the parameter "Positionzero" to 0, the 3 intertwanged plans don't go in the center of the sphere. So I have the two reference lines and the geometry at the end instead of having it in the meeting point of the lines. Do you have an idea of how I could fix that issue? Thanks !

When I load the 2v adaptive into the 1v it doesn't look right. It looks way more distorted then it does in your video plus when I throw in the sphere radius parameter it only reduces the distortion to about half. Long story short it does not look like a dome. Am I doing something wrong? Please help.
@NonStopLearning1017 жыл бұрын
Hi Serena, thankz for watching.! First, you have to double check the formula. Second, check the parameters, it should match your model. & Third, follow the step by step procedure in the video. Do it step by step and pause the video then so on..... good luck!

I was having the same problem like you, then I repeated it again and it works. The thing is you need to click delete formula on the prompt after you move the three points up.

Well for 3V dome dividing the 1V panel line at two points rather than middle (as for 2V dome) has worked out for me but the points do not align which i think is because of dividing the line at 0.333 and 0.666 is not accurate enough so i cant get a straight line at base in case of dome :( Any Help would be extremely appreciated. thanks
