As a young kid, Grimskunk was the first band I ever watch in a concert. They were playing in France with Lofofora. Since that day, I never stop listening to their albums. Merci, merci et encore merci!

I am so 'lucky' to be so old to have seen them in that time. Dunno if it was 96 or 97. I live in northern Germany, and by then, they were virtually unknown. Luckily I played in some bands and so used to know about many types of live music in the area etc. I think I saw them twice, they played in ridiculously small places, and there attended like 30-50 people. I remember being blown away by them. The organ. The power. Man, those times. Sigh.

Man. Lived in upstate NY. Wayyy upstate. Found one of their CD’s in a misc. bin back in 96. Was a frequent traveler to Montreal sense I was only 2hr drive. Got to see them at least 3 times. Once I was able to convince people that even though I didn’t speak French I wasn’t a drunk asshole. They would give me directions or tell me how to get there on the Metro. Got to learn the city that way.

Evitez les quartiers gais!!! Souper presque parfait....un gai ventais que les gais french 3 gars a aller jusquau coin de la rue....faudrais pas en rajouter....il a osez dire quil a lgout dfrapper des meres qui laisse leurs enfants enervés au metro. Souper parfait ou pas moi jai perdu espoir en mtl entier.
