On the way back last year, we had a trailing sea 4-5ft, eventhough we were on a 28ft we barely hit 20mph because the waves were so far that I would stuff the bow going any faster, so I was on the throttle the whole ride, took me 3.5 hours.
@MiamiLiving305
@MiamiLiving305 7 ай бұрын
Yea when they are rolling that big you can't just plow thru them because you end up falling on the front end of the wave and dunk the bow where you can not even slow down cause the rest of the wave is coming up behind you! I try not to get caught in that but it does happen 3.5 is a decent time for those conditions
@rod272727

Very good video a lot of information on the crossing and great picture quality . I felt if I was on the boat and I was wondering how much fuel did you use to cross to Bimini ?I think you 1.5 a few times and I thought I was ask anyway,thank you and great video.
@MiamiLiving305
@MiamiLiving305 7 ай бұрын
I was burning at around 1.5 mpg but I usually waste in a weekend to Bimini half a tank which comes out to be about 100 gallons of fuel give or take depending on sea condition's

I had a betta fish named Bimini, he died. Got gill disease so gave him fish antibiotics...made him go blind 😅. I don't know why this is so funny now, but it was downhill after that so we helped him along and put him in a cup of Vodka until you know, passed, then buried him outside 😂😂🤣🤣🤣😅 We tried to help him 😢😅 Anyway, like your videos...will keep watching...
