Love it. Your boat is a beast. We did that back in the early 2000s. On a 23ft with 2 115hp. That had two different props. Every time you hit a wave the boat would turn hard right. Took us 6.5 hours. Great memories

I'd be so worried the weather would get bad halfway there. I boat in Florida but just on the lakes. I've seen the weather change in minutes and the lake become pretty violent. I can't imagine being miles out in the ocean and having that happen. I love that the bird dropped by to give you a little company 😂. Beautiful boat !

@@MiamiLiving305 I’ve sailed and motored those waters for decades to and from the Bahamas, through the straits, up and down other coasts. Heavy seas entering the Gulf Stream are almost always a sign of northerlies. It takes up to two days for the sea to settle. Stay safe out there and definitely keep the wife home in choppy seas! ✌️

You’ll start to feel it in about 10 years like old high school sports injuries BUT well worth the memories ✊ it’s precisely why I switched from my last power boat (Mako 26 cuddy) to sailing. My power boat days were mostly fishing off south shore of Long Island off the shelf. Then I moved to SW FL and lived in The Grove for a few years. Now back in Sarasota and keep it to wind power. Planning a trip down the coast to the keys and Dry Tortugas, then over to Eleuthra at some point. With sails I HAVE to watch those winds when battling the Gulf Stream
