Is this a 4 bow? did you need to cut out 30cm on the rear support poles too? How far back did you re mount the support brackets once you cut ? Cheers

this was exactly what i was thinking(stupid name for the things too) but wasnt sure how well it would work and didnt want to spend the money to cut it and try, so thank you for letting me know yes your brains didnt screw us on this idea lol. like and a sub from me mate thanks loads

Now you need to cut down the inner 2 bows half the length you took off to correct the curve of the top

I didn't need too, because cutting the height ,did not change the shape, but if you have done that and it works , that's great. Maybe you can share the result with others that have looked here. cheers

I got a Boston whaler 13, what size Bimini did you buy and from where ?

Hi Marcus, If you want a Bimini for your boat you have to measure how wide it is and get one to suit. I bought min from BCF, not sure where you are and if you have a BCF, but surf the net it always helps with prices .

For the 1’ you removed off of the main leg, you equally removed 1’ from the other leg attached to the main? Yes?

Yes, both the same, but be aware that it will lower the actual height more than a foot. So if you don't want it as low as this, take off less to suit yourself.

I haven’t had any problem and I haven’t had any others saying otherwise, but then if you are fishing for flying fish, it could be a problem. If you think it’s going to be a problem then don’t do it . The way they are, you might as well not have one!

It is a 4 bow and I did cut the rear supports and mounting them should be done to suit yourself.

Yes it is a 4 Bow as in the video and the rear support poles , I did cut the same off as the bows, but you can cut them to suit yourself and mount them to suit the length you made them!
