This will give your boat a more modern look and will make your time on the water more comfortable on hot and sunny days. We found out the hard way traveling down the highway when our bimini boot cover zippers unzipped, lost the cover and the bimini billowed like a parachute behind. Shredded the bimini and bent the frame. Now, we use two bungee cords around the stowed bimini when going to speed and distance. Great idea to zip-tie the cover zippers! Good video!

Unfortunately you’re not the only people that’s happened to…it happens all the time. I had a fishing boat with a full custom cover that came unsnapped in the rear and shredded the whole back of it. Very sad day!!!

@@tomspontoons Hey Sir We got our Bimini put on and I had ordered a 10 foot and when I measured this one it’s 8 foot 3 inches Do you measure the fabric to get the 10 foot or what. I’m confused. Just asking. I’m going to call them in the morning to see what’s up

Thanks for watching! The vacuum trick was a game changer for us FOR SURE. Old electrician trick for pulling wire through conduit so it makes sense. If only I'd have learned it sooner in my restoration career....the time and curse words I could have saved!

Great job!! Could space that Tohatsu control out using spacers like what comes with the Suzuki controls and hide the wire bundle in that space behind the control (plus get some extra clearance for your throttle hand on the throttle 👍).

I definitely like using the spacers when I can, but this control was mounted through the fence paneling (not the tube of the rail) to get it to mount nice and flush. When doing so it's solid, but the second I add spacers the leverage makes things a bit wobbly. I love your idea though for running the wiring behind the box using the spacers!

Hey Tom are the extra tall brackets needed @2:50, with Pontoon Stuff seats? I ordered a top and frame from Overton's (frame came in scratched have to return😡), theirs doesn't come with those extra tall brackets, They gave me the option of a refund, but because I notice Pontoon stuff Bimini's are back in stock I can just order through them, question is will Pontoon Stuff come with the extra tall brackets...I suppose I should call...Thanks Tom!

The pontoon stuff heavy duty biminis come with the tall brackets that get everything above the seat backs to prevent rubbing. I just got a couple of them in that I ordered a while ago so they must be receiving them now and getting to shipping them. A call to their customer service would be a good idea tho!

Thanks for watching our stuff and for subscribing! They don't sell a double bimini kit at this point. You'd have to buy two biminis and have a local canvas shop install a zipper to connect them.
