hi There, my rear door wont open from the outside , because outside handle is not in contact with the mechanism, i think something is missing that connects them together ,, Do you know how the outside handle connects to the mechanism to open the door?

The front right door in my 1992 e34 535i has locked shut, there is nothing i have been able to do to open it. I luckily had the door card off before it stopped working, the outside door handle doesn’t seem to hit the latch on the locking mechanism(like it may be bent) but even when i push that latch to manually open the door, it still wont work. I took out the window to get a better look, and there is no other apparent issue. Please someone help me, I cant figure this out and its been some very stressful past days. If anyone has a solution to this problem please reply asap. Thank you all

Neither of my back doors remotely look - i have to manually lock or unlock via the pins. Which feels totally normal. Do you think that could be both the rear actuators have stopped working? I bought the car like that....

Depending on the year, I know that my 93 e34 automatically locks the rear doors when I lock the either front doors.
