Thanks for this video this helps me how to open back door trim however my issue did not fix because I was backing up and hit gaurage door and it pulled rear wiper and it was displaced. Where motor sits on plastic nobs are off how can it be fixed. Motor still opetatable . Pls help

Where is the "trunk lid open" sensor? I didn't see it during the video. Is the sensor located on the top half of the X5 or the bottom half?

Not sure. I know that 04 X5 models made some changes and therefore wouldn't know for sure if this item would fit your 04 model.

Do you have a owner repair manual by Bentley's ? You can find them at amazon or ebay & few other online businesses. Check fuses first you want to start eliminating easiest possible problems first. And work your way into the more complicated possibilities that may be causing the problem.. I just posted about my wiper fluid reservoir mounted actuators making sound but yet my fluid wont spray onto either front nor rear..both will wipe as they should that's it. So im looking things up and i have the manual for repairs but cant find anything on this specific problem on the E53 3.0i as here in this very video..which is exactly what i own 2006 version SAV X5

Hi i have this very vehicle 2006 model E53 X5 3.0i M54B30. I just replaced damage rear wiper blade motor yesterday evening. Now I'm not understanding why my fluid is not spraying out onto front or rear window to clean ? The motor makes the sound when its triggered to use either for front windshield or rear window....just nothing from wiper fluid reservoir

yes, as with any parts, the door lock actuator will stop working. good time to replace when it starts to act up Check out our website for all your pre-owned bmw parts

Got x5 2001 when the Back wiper is turn on it blow out the fuse after a while, replace the fuse again it blow it again, tried it on when hangin not mounted seem to work but when mounted iy does not last long blow fuse again, what seem to be the problem,/ any help thanks.

hard to say what problem is, especially since we are dealing with electrical issue. Seems to be a short circuit causing fuse to blow. try replacing your wiper motor.

Should most things for these model vehicles..is that parts might be in a different location on it depending on your year model an type. All M54B30 3.0 & 3.0i engines are the exact same...its determining what dme its running as computer. Siemens or semens run MS43 type computer. There are other types too you have to look in your E Box where its located, which is under hood look on passenger side near fire wall just under cover top corner has 5 bolts in it look like screw nails silver in color use allen key or hex nut tool to get them out pop top off and you got relays etc and other things in that E Box is what its specifically called...
