Absolutely love this video. The back and forth discussion of the car and driving is refreshingly honest and genuine. I don't care what car it's with, more driving videos like this with feedback on how it's handling, but more importantly, that feedback/coaching to a driver on track!

Thanks for the video. Great to see how this car will develop from stock. A 2:03 is mighty impressive given the heat that day!!

Thanks Phil and James! I took my G87 out at an SCCA TT at Summit Main running a 1:20.6 It was one time as the stock tires overheated and I had the exact same observation with the brake pads/fluid. Lack of confidence as it was not constant. Same with the suspension (taking a set, patience…). Since then I ordered the CSL hubs and the Zunsport covers from you guys (Thank you!). Great observations, documenting the obvious. James remains a beast! Like fine wine gets faster with age. Incredible lap.

Great video. Love the way you are tracking the development of the G87. Anxiously awaiting the next episode.

Best video has down on documenting stock config and its potential with the parts installed. Can’t wait to see this thing continue to slash lap times. 💪

This is the best video on KZbin! Although I may be partial in that I pickup my new G87 next week and just ordered some of these goodies from Bimmerworld :)

Great video and information, thank you! Can you mention what hot pressures you were targetting and getting with the PS4S tires please?

We started at ~24 and target was 30 hot for both the Michelins and Hoosiers.

Great video! Question: how did you set the toe at the track (string , machine , other trick)?
@BimmerWorldMediaАй бұрын
Before heading to the track, b at the shop we did a before and after camber change and saw the toe change needed so we knew exactly what we needed to do quickly to get it back to where we targeted. Then we double checked with plates/tape measure.

Cool video! Fun to see the progress on track. I liked the data analysis also. As a g87 owner, would be cool to see a camber plate install video. I noticed the damper completely removed and maybe the bump stops modified?
@BimmerWorldMedia5 ай бұрын
The C/C plate was remarkably straight forward, but we'll see if we can work in an install video the next time we take this thing apart.

enjoyed the video but I heard so many excuses lol stock pads, stock tires. keep up the work guys
@BimmerWorldMediaКүн бұрын
Certainly not excuses, more of explanations of where we are finding the weak points. Definitely haven't heard of anyone else going nearly this fast in a stock M2 so we aren't trying to throw out excuses. Just wait til we get back to the track in 2025 with lots of new upgrades and you'll see what it really can do. :)
