$2,000 for such a small motor?, No thanks!.The wear and tear (on the long term) from the direct contact with the disc larger gear on those small gears inside the unit is a fact not to be ignored !😢😮

I agree out of the gate for less than $500. Otherwise, you are pricing yourself out of reality.

I`m Excited to see this happening. Its expensive for now and their core target audience is for the hardcore pro mountain bike riders, but i`m sure in time as word gets out , the product will improve, materials will cost less and the price will go down. They are still in their infancy stage.

I think that this is a great option for commuters. However in Tahoe where I live, throttle bikes are not allowed on bike paths, and definitely not allowed on the mountain bike trails. It will be interesting to see the evolution of Bimotal motors for mid-drive pedal assist and commitments to work with bike manufacturers. There is serious competition from the Specialized SL motors, and the TQ-Systems motor that is utilized in Trek Fuel EXe.

Terrible sound. I would rather hear constant background noise than that constant mute and unmute cycling. I'm unable to watch this otherwise very interesting presentation.
