Great review, this is the most compelling ebike I have seen.

It's a ton of fun! There might be some specs that are getting switched, and delays, I have heard from others out there, but the unit I got was really well-done.

They are now coming with 9 speed Microshift. They also have been continually delaying shipments. I order one in mid November and have been informed of a possible late January shipping date. Not a great experience starting off with this company, expecting Shimano Deore 10 spd and their was no mention of 2+ months back order issues

So you bought it when they said it was going to be a 10-speed and they changed the specs on you after the fact??
@josemelgar1421 сағат бұрын
yeah, they have it in the FAQ on the product website under 'What tires will come on my bike?' It says "Due to supply chain constraints from our component manufacturers, Ride1Up may substitute certain components in rare instances such as tires. We meticulously select replacement components that provided similar, if not better quality and value, than the originally listed components." Most reviews I read on Reddit or elsewhere, people still do seem to be really, really happy with the bike, even with the different spec. I decided to take the risk and order one, so we'll see what happens when it arrives...

"In rare instances we may substitute components such as tires" is not the same thing as the groupset going from Shimano Deore 10spd to Microshift 9spd. Also when I ordered in November on my confirmation email it said shipping in late November. Then I contacted them in late November and they said oh we've moved that to late December we sent everyone emails saying that. They did not send me that email. Then in late December they said shipping will now be delayed until late January and it's coming with 9spd Microshift. So yeah overall not a huge deal, but the goal post being moved and components being downgraded is suspect

Good review. I have the V2 version of this bike which I like a lot. Will probably get the V3. They recently changed the drivetrain configuration from 10-speed to 9-speed. Instead of Shimano derailleur and shifter you will get Microshift.

Thanks for watching :) was pretty impressed with the belt commuter combo here. How have you liked the V2 so far?? Anything standout about the bike for you?

I have reviews of the Aventon Soltera 1 & 2 on my channel, and this bike is very similar in a lot of ways. I love the fact that they beefed this one up for off-road rides 😎

They have changed it to a 9 speed microshift rather then the 10 speed shimano. None of the current reviewers are stating this

Oh really?? I didn't see that on their website. Obviously I only got my hands on the belt version. Thanks for the updated info!

Have you found out any details related to rigding uphill under throttle only? What would be the max steepness before failing? 10% 15%. Thanks!

With the belt drive version, I imagine it would be decent on some inclines, if you’ve got lots of hills, would definitely recommend the multiple gear version. Unfortunately I don’t have any hard numbers to give ya here.

@@MicromobilityIndustries I would def want the low maintenance side of the belt, but I do live on a hill, and the last part of my climb is a 500 feet 17% climb that gets me most of the times.

I'm 5'11 with 30" inseam and got the large but that medium looks pretty big on you at the same height.
@MicromobilityIndustries17 күн бұрын
It did feel a bit big, but I think that is something that comes with the roadbike-type bikes in general. I think the medium was the right call for me, but I could probably manage on a large as well.

@ so I ultimately decided to cancel my preorder and went with a non powered gravel bike for Black Friday. I'm honestly glad I did!

Is the motor a nominal 500W or is it a 350W nominal with a 500W peak?
@MicromobilityIndustriesАй бұрын
I'm pretty sure it's a 500-watt motor, though it doesn't say either way on the motor itself. Based on the size, compared with motors I know are actually 500w nominal, I think it's 500w.
