Firsr you have to get Norway visa, then you can get ferry or by air to Svalbard. 24/7 is cold and snow fall, to live there you must have work and place to live.... Hardest and harsh life... There is no workpermit required but when u leave Svalbard going to norway, you become illegal... Then u cannot comes back to Europe, this place is only good for peoples who already have residency for Europe 🙏🏻

It's not like that exactly ... When u got job in Svalbard .. automatically you will be headed by Norwegian jurisdiction.. yes your company may help you to apply your work visa in Norway too .. because time to time you have to go to Norway .. I know only about engineering and science job .. don't know much about tier 3 or 4 jobs .. may be it's similar for low level of jobs too
