To recycle the bottles it shows a tag, when you buy the bottle/can then you pay an extra amount for to get you to recycle it... so for regular bottles/can it is now 2 nok pr bottle, this you get back when you recycle it. For bigger bottles like 1.5 ltr soda you get 3 nok back. It is a incentive to get you to recycle it, its not a tax ... In Norway we recycle about 96% of all the bottles/can bought at stores ... due to this, however if you find bottles in nature or in trashbins (and yes you will because some are just idiots) you still get that 2 nok or 3 nok for a bottle ... even if you have not bought it but found it... as the price follows the bottle. And you can recycle these bottles anywhere, not just where you bought these.

To live in any of the norwegian Cities is expensive, prices of house or apartments are very high and its like that in pretty much all norwegian cities of some size. If you can live some outside the cities you usually do get cheaper houses or appartments but ofcourse there will be less other things like fewer stores and things like that. Also price of food can be abit more expensive outside of cities while things like utility bills and electricity can be abit cheaper than in cities. And for us who live up in the north there is a zone called "Tiltakssonen" its north Troms and Finnmark that have less tax, cheaper electricity and from this autumn free kindergarden and some other goods ... its to attract people to move north, houses are ofcourse alot cheaper here (again unless you live in cities) but travel is more expensive sadly.

@@zainulabdin1720 I could lie and say no racism but I live in a small town of less than 1000 people, we have 27 different nationality here and I do believe that raceism as freeze out people of different color is not common or happen at all, among people words like that black one or she from Thailand can be used but not for raceism but more that people might not remember your name and its more a point of telling the other person who. We have had tamils here, people from africa and general asian people living here without problems. Temperature at the coast is... well warmer at winter than inland, and it switch in the summer then we often get a colder seawind in.... wintertemperatures are around -2 to -10 degrees normally with some colder days where it gets cold as -15 to -20 celcius

I suggest all those who are aspiring to move to Norway to do a proper research about that country. The current situation is very bad and there are serious tensions and threats with Russia which borders the country in the North. The law of the land says that even non-citizens living in the land can be conscripted for military service in times of conflict so dont get caught unknowingly in that mouse trap.
