Binary Arithmetic Shifts

Following from looking at the logical shifts, this video covers the distinction between them and arithmetic shifts, which are used for (signed) two's complement binary.

arithmatic shifts are only for signed binary values!

But there's a bloc called SHL (Shift Logical) and SHA (Shift Arithmetical), how many bits and to what direction (right or left) should I shift the bits?
