I know that for me, videos without talking are great because when I'm trying to actually sleep, my brain gets engaged by talking and it's harder to sleep. It's difficult not to try and listen along and decipher what's being said.

Not that voice is bad, but I like to usually experience the particular sound, rather than someone quietly (or not quietly) talking or mumbling over it.

Unfortunately tapping is not a friendly tingle trigger for me, I find it makes me very tense, so I've been sort of avoiding this video when I see it come up in my searches. Decided to try it today and just skip to the scratching (thank you SO much for having them segmented like that instead of just a constant mix!) and had some of the BEST tingles I've ever gotten!

I love these kinds of videos, thank you! I do love your voice, but I cannot stand to hear voices with my ASMR videos, just my preference, but when I hear voices, and I wonder if this is for anyone else, it triggers an annoyance or angry response in my brain.... Also, what headphones are people using? I am using the Sennheiser HD598 headphones and they are just superb for ASMR, the clarity, detail, just fantastic! REALLY feels like you are right here behind me tapping and scratching on my head.
@empty_cognizance22348 жыл бұрын
I JUST got a pair of HD598s in the mail on Monday, so this is my first new Anna video with them. I'm really happy with them; the sound is amazing and the weight and comfort make them fantastic for long listening sessions. I don't really have any experience with ASMR on closed-back headphones, so I don't really have any reference for how those sound in terms of ASMR realism, but I do agree with you about the 598s and them sounding like she's right there.
@thejakeyl888 жыл бұрын
I've always loved open headphones like these, I had the HD555 before, but the HD598's are a bit better, I just absolutely LOVE them. I very much agree with you about the comfort. I almost ALWAYS sleep in my headphones, its become a habit, but they are so comfortable I don't really even notice them! Not to mention they don't look too shabby, either! Enjoy those headphones! Also, if you use them for music, and like customizing and having great options, look into JRiver media player. With it you can use WASAPI whici (from wiki) "The Windows Audio Session API (WASAPI) is Microsoft's most modern method for talking with audio devices. It is available in Windows Vista, Windows 7, and later versions of Windows. It allows delivering an unmodified bitstream to a sound device, and provides benefits similar to those provided by ASIO" Plus the control you actually have its just amazing what you can do with music and these headphones.

+Meiya Diamandis lmao, same. It'd be nice to not have bills and shit to buy some nice ass headphones, but I guess we can't all be lucky. My Walmart headphones will have to do. 😂

These headphones were originally 249.99, they have been out for a few years, and are down to 120-140. I was able to put away 10-20 a week until I had enough. But, I also am a PC gamer, and watch all my TV and movies through my PC, so they get a lot of use. Everyone decides what to spend their money on based on how useful something is to them. If headphones are something you want to upgrade, research while saving. The open-ear headphones are my personal favorite because it has the most wide sound stage and are very spatial, absolutely amazing with anything binaural or 3d.
