If you're looking for something like that, try searching Peter Cusack's album "Your Favourite London Sounds". You might also find what you're looking for if you search the terms "Acoustic Ecology" or "Soudscapes". Hope it helps a bit!

sebastianblevdet He took a political position and stood up for what he believes in,most youtube because it would evoke the type of response you just gave but I think you should be able to respect different people's positions, he supports Hillary and is criticising Trump for things he has done. If you can't then watch knowing he has a different view to you what does that say about you? If you look at what both candidates have done and said, and they're plans and decide to support trump that is your right as it is Casey's to support Hillary and use his public platform to support her

felface first of all. I dont care about NA politics so much that i hate one or the other primarily because i dont live nor have a us membership. secondly, I felt more like he was hating on everyone else for not voting for hillary and saying that they should. I just think that he is in the wrong for telling people to vote for someone just because he wants them to. not t because they necessarily wants to.

Telling people to annoy their favourite youtubers into public taking a stance was not a good thing to do I have to admit. He can have his opinion but to then say other people have to give them and encourage fans to make people to talk about politics was a stupid thing to do

There should be a travel show where a guy with one of these cameras and microphones walks around different places just filming people and the environment. No real narration at all, just the sounds of the world in 3D with HD video.

i find it remarkable that the people in this city show absolute no reaction to being recorded. they are so used to all this technical stuff and surrounded by it every day.. i filmed a lot in remote parts of asia and the people there were always very curious about what i am doing with the camera and mic. really a great video and fantastic sound experience, hope to see (and hear) more of this in the future :)

There should be a channel that solely posts videos of binaural footage all over the world. People like me who don't have the money to travel can at least experience what it's like to be there, to walk around, imbibe the surroundings, occasionally eavesdropping people's conversations in the train. It'll be great :)

Try this: turn out the lights, move close to the screen and cover your right eye - your brain won't be able to tell it's looking at a 2D image and so tricks you into thinking you're looking at something 3D, compounded with the binaural audio the effect is really cool, try it

this is genuilely one of the most well recorded binaural recordings on youtube. Plenty of air in the sound, the audio itself sounds natural with nothing veiled or too quiet, the staging is realistic (assuming you have decent headphones with staging). Just amazing to test out new open backs.

The audio really sells the realism, this is more immersive to me than 360 video. Now imagine if he filmed this in 3D stereoscopically with this sound. I don't have an oculus rift or anything, but this is the most accessible way to most people to get some form of immersion, simply by consuming this audio content with a decent pair of headphones. (Earbuds might sound crappier).

0:28 dat door. I was even looking to my right.. It works pretty good, given that the ear is extremely sensible and is hard to be tricked. But it's not perfect still - I wear really good headphones and there is this something in these soundwaves that I just won't 100% believe I am in New York. for instance, IRL 24:19 I would clearly hear that the train is arriving on the right - in this video the sound is just coming from everywhere - I closed my eyes the first time so I really didn't knew.

I think the biggest challenge will be to get out of that augmented feeling: the transitions between channels are still very rough comparatively to everyday hearing and the difference between the channels is also too agresive: I don't hear music from the back as differently as in the vid, for example. Anyhow, I'm quite excited to see this technology become better and better and this video is still ear candy, lol.

Works really well. A cool situation is 8:40, when the camera passes the signs. First you can hear the right sign blocking sound of the fountain. Later when the camera passes the signs you hear the sound of the fountain reflected of the back of the left sign , just like it would if you were there.

The sound quality is great and you are able to pick up every detail even more than what my own ears could but I don't sense much depth; I'm new to this. Perhaps it's my own headphones? I'm able to sense left, right, low and high but I don't sense much far or near; Of course I notice sounds getting louder and quieter relative to distance but I don't sense the depth; not sure if I make any sense. Again I'm new to this and I'm really digging it. Perhaps it's more intense in a VR World.

Well thats because the microphones are picking up every noise at the same level. If you would experience that same soundscape in real life your brain would filter alot of noise. This is also known as the "cocktail party effect". But this kind of selective hearing is not (yet) possible to recreate with audio recording. Thats why people with hearing devices have trouble following conversations in noisey environments.

Does anyone else think the sound at 17:34 resembles the first sliding note in Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue? I know he wrote it on a train from New York to Boston but wonder if that sound was literally the first thing that inspired him. Maybe it's something that appeared later. More likely it's a coincidence.

I believe that at 7:26 is a prime example of how realistic binaural audio can sound. That captured the voices and surrounding sound extremely well, distributed the audio between the channels perfectly, inputted the height and location of where the audio was coming from (kind of like audio depth), and even slightly focused on the voice and almost tuned out the background noise as we humans do in real life. That was the point where those factors applied best in this video. With all those factors applied as well as how the microphone end is shaped, it sounded absolutely identical to real life. Binaural audio, is amazing.

+Ernesto Avilez Hell no, 60fps has the weirdest look to it. If cinema stopped at 24fps, there's a reason to it.
@AuroraNemoia

SuperDuper the video can be in 60fps on youtube since if you wanna watch it in 30fps, just use an external player ith the righht videoID and you can have the 30fps 720p and 1080p versions easily.
@slothonastick32
@slothonastick32 9 жыл бұрын
+SuperDuper Cinemas stopped at 24 fps because the frames in movies blur during motion. 60fps does not make a video look weird, nothing about it changes except its much smoother. I'm guessing you also think video games should be 30fps?
@debeste95
@debeste95 8 жыл бұрын
+SuperDuper Cinema is not made to look like real life. It's intentionally made to look like something you'd not see everyday, that's why you watch movies. This is made to be immersive by virtually resembling real life, therefore more frames = better. You're dumb.
