Springbok ASMR

Күн бұрын

I know a couple other content creators have offered great advice on this subject, especially GentleWhispering. I just wanted to add the tips and tricks I've developed to keep tingling as often as humanly possible. Because a single tingle is never enough. Please share your own advice below--we can all benefit from it! And, for the love of waffles, please use headphones.
Bonus fake internet points each time you spot Etienne running around like a crazed beast!

Amazing video, lady! ^.^ Great insights too.. I have noticed that, like you noted, cool temperature increases the intensity of the sensation for me. ASLO! :D I have noticed that a fan that is blowing air gently in my direction, preferably at a long distance and not too strong increases chances of me getting tingles about 50%! :D so yes... somehow physical attributes add to the experience. I am assuming the sensitivity heightens and MY hair follicles react to the temperature strongly. :) crazy STUFF! :P

lol it's like we are really weirdly built/made but in a good way. It's our own little gift from the universe. I hope one day science can pin point the reason why only a few get it and what the tingles do to our bodies besides act as stress relievers.

I think ASMR videos sometimes dont realise that its actually the words they use which promote tingles. Rather than just a video of whispering. Also speaking into peoples right ears are more likely to create the desired effect, as that side of the brain deals with emotion. Left hand side is for logic. - so thats probably a good pointer for the binaural ear to ear stuff

+Raba you have to stop watching fir a bit. Wait a month then find an asmr that you know is really good and watch it again, if you're flicking through vids then the immunity is likely to start coming back. So yeah, wait a month and start watching videos again, focusing entirely on the video if you don't then the sounds just become a background noise and you won't get tingles.

I always read the comments on ASMR videos because I love to see the nice community we're a part of, and I love reading your comments, Spring. It's really refreshing to see someone who is both funny, and incredibly nice and genuine in her comments. You're positivity, friendliness, and humor is part of what makes you stand out as by far the best ASMRtist on KZbin. Apart front your actual videos, of course.

I used to be very sensitive to the slightest triggers, and was very self conscious about it before i knew what it was, i dreaded haircuts. Then it had a name ASMR. It turned from a curse to a mode of relaxation and sleep aid. For me it was halloween week this year. Binged on asmr like it was trick or treat candy. Still cant tingle at all a month later. Though i have this 'almost triggered' feeling that is not helping matters. I hope it comes back in time for some yule tide tingles. This time i'll try to seek it in moderation.

Awwww :/ Man, idk, maybe I just beat my immunity by not doing much about it? Like, if I want to get really crisp and big tingles I'll try new ones, or try it at other times of the day, or any of the other things Spring mentioned :). But the very first time I experienced immunity I didn't do anything about it, and so I listened to ASMR every night, even while I slept. Nowadays I'm kind of "partially immune" but I can make changes in my routine which affect the intensity of triggers.

Thank you so much for the tips. I've kind of fallen off of the ASMR train, and haven't been in the community for a few months now. After finding your videos, I can just lay down and actually fall asleep to ASMR. Not only that, but with all this school work piling up, it feels good to have someone's voice there to kind of help you through it. I usually will have my girlfriend on the phone and that has always helped, but when things get late, it's always great to come to these videos and just relax and focus. Thanks again. Helped me a lot.

Thank you so much for the video, Spring. I sincerely appreciate the time and hard work you put in to everything you do. I would recommend people to invest in-earbuds. Now you can drop $150+ on Beats, but I don't recommend it. You're only paying for the look, the trend, style, unboxing experience with headphones such as those. Instead take your time and research into audio. Perhaps what it means to be an audiophile. Making smart decisions will reward you with a pair of ear buds that will last you for years. It will easily double, triple, the experience of just listening to the world. Price will not matter. The greatest gift in my eyes that humanity has given us is music. Please treat yourself and experience every decibel possible. Ps. I'm absolutely floored to hear hear the 'tsk' at the end. And while it wasn't my recommendation, I thank you for it.

Look at reviews and see what best suites your price range and style. Some people don't like in-ear phones, some prefer over head. They have all of them and you can't go wrong with this company. Stay away from Bose, Skullcandy, Sony. I use these: www.amazon.com/Munitio-Tactical-Earphones-Universal-Control/dp/B004SM98EK/ref=pd_sim_sbs_e_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=054B61MHWN83MSBSF3W4 Best I have ever bought and if something happens to the ones I have, I will happily buy these again.

Thanks for this, since I started watching ASMR videos I've lost a lot of the sensitivity I had. When I started I would tingle all over to almost anything, and now only very specific triggers done just right seem to do it for me, but I still find them comforting. And thank you for sticking with it and making more videos and reading and responding to comments, it means a lot (to me, at least) that you won't let people scare you away.

When you said you were going to finish on a requested word I was like, ahh it's TUSK!! Haha. Brilliant. I find it nice when you move from mic to mic and the sound goes from louder to quieter and back to louder again. I find that your videos, and probably the variation and attention/detail you put into them, are best for triggers for me. But also have watched a non-ASMR vid of someone walking round Target whispering about product finds, picking up and showing things to work very well in terms of triggers. If you did a video like that from an ASMR perspective that would be awesome! Love from England x

There are certain ppl that I come across that give me asmr just by talking. One of my repeated clients whom I wax has a way she says s's and it gives me massive tingles on my head. Also this other woman that I waxed one time had given me asmr and this peacefulness throughout my whole body (hard to describe) and at one point she placed her hand on my arm as she was telling me a story, and I felt a melting jolt of sensation through my arm and it permeated all throughout my entire body. This stuff is sooo interesting to me, it's so mysterious. I also experience the immunity from time to time, it is very frustrating. Thank you for making this, I'm watching it right after coming from work, and I had a stressful day so I'm unwinding before I make dinner.

Springbok ASMR Hey Springboss, just wanted to tell you how much i enjoy your videos, and how helpful they're to somebody with sleeping problems. I know normally it is not the most flattering thing to be told that you put people to sleep with your talking, but in this case i think you understand it is a great compliment. Also you have to remember that those people as hurtful as they're, that it is not personal nor does it have something to do with you. They just look for reactions to feed of and they will use whatever and say whatever to be acknowledged, eventually they will get bored and move on if ignored.

if you need a video to help you through tough times, then you're always going to be getting into tough times. Too many people cover up their problems and address the symptoms only. If you really want to change and better yourself, you should address and attack the problem, not what the problem causes or does to you.

There's only one real method to overcome immunity and that's not exposing yourself anymore to it. When i found out about asmr i literaly got addicted to it and i overloaded myself so hard over the course of a year that i got completely immune to it. I'm still for the most part immune to it and i didn't watch any asmr for about 2 months. It's gonna take a loooong time for me to get the feeling back, it sucks balls but that's how it is for me it seems. First not watching a week or so helped but as with everything your body gets used to it and you'll have to get off longer and longer after a while to get it back. For me I guess it's gonna take atleast 6months or even a year to get all that overload out of my system. I'm gonna have to completely forget about asmr for a long time and then i'm prety sure i'll have the feeling back again. So people, do yourself a favor and watch asmr with moderation or you'll get fucked just as i did. Even tho it's so addicting to have the feeling over and over, if you do not force yourself to let's say watch asmr one or twice a week you will get immune or have far lesser experience then when you would just watch in moderation. I remember the time when i would hang in my chair like an addict drooling when i heared someone whisper. That is long gone now. If you don't want to end up like that, moderate your intake ;)

It's funny, I listen to ASMR while I'm smoking marijuana, and I about coughed out my lungs laughing at the irony when you mentioned it. I can see your point saying it damages its purity, but at least speaking from personal experiences, I have a semi-stressful lifestyle, and smoking allows me to not focus on all that stress, it allows me to just sit back, and not really think about anything. It's such a relaxing state, that ASMR mixes so well with it. I can't even begin to explain how calming and soothing ASMR can be when you're high. For us, it sort of just makes everything okay for a little while, and you don't need to take care of anything for the moment.

One of the best triggers that work on me is the sound of a blinker in a car or bus. For this reason, especially after a stressful day, I usually pick the seat right next to the driver when I get on the bus home. Unfortunately, more modern models of buses tend to be equipped with very silent blinkers...

One thing that helps me is a simple add-on extension for Google Chrome called Stylish. It allows me to change the background color of sites such as KZbin. Using this extension I was able to set the background to jet black. I also turn down the brightness on my laptop to make the whole experience of watching videos such as this one a lot easier on the eyes.

Cant wait for some new role play videos, i found that one trigger for me is product review/unboxing videos for things i'm looking at purchasing or just products within my hobbies. :)

This video is sort of a mirror of when I first discovered ASMR. I thought "Wow! I thought that was only me!" Now I feel that but it's somewhat less exciting. I binged on it when I first found it, and over a couple months it got weaker and weaker until I stopped feeling anything at all. It's probably been over a year since I stopped really feeling it. I've taken breaks of probably about a month before, to minimal effect. Real-life triggers were always few and far between for me so I can't really say if I've lost that, but nothing artificial really seems to do it for me anymore. If I focus really hard on the sensation on a video I know used to work, I can sort of recreate some ghost sensations, but it's not the same. I still watch ASMR regularly because, while the physical sensations seem to be pretty fickle for a lot of us, I don't know of anyone who has lost the internal peacefulness sensation. Oddly, when I originally listened to ASMR it was almost never at night, because the tingles were too distracting to sleep. Now it's pretty much exclusively for sleep relaxation. Maybe it'll come back someday. Or maybe I'm stuck with this cursed life of half-ASMR. Maybe that's my punishment for ASMR gluttony. We should start warning newcomers about that. Anyways, sorry about the ramble. Thanks for listening, and thanks for trying to help those of us who have lost our spark. I'll still be enjoying your videos frequently either way.

A trick I found myself is to have a few different sources of asmr. I have a couple asmr channels I follow (you, annasoft, random searches) and rotate them around every so often. Each has their own style and taking a break from that style can help too!

Even if I don't receive the tingle sensation, I think a lot of these ASMR videos work as a bit of anxiety relief. I've been very strung out lately and I resort to my favorite ASMRtists to dull it enough to carry on with my day.

In my experience, i grow an immunity when i stop focusing on the video and move it to the background. When i watch the video and pay attention to the video and don't try to get away with playing a game or something while just listening to the video, it always works.

Thank you for this video love. I've been experiencing an immunity for close to three weeks now :/ but many of your tips, and your lovely voice, have been quite helpful. Something else I've noticed... when I close my eyes and concentrate on listening I often clench certain muscles in my face. It's barely noticable unless I focus on it but this causes a slight discomfort and keeps me from feeling asmr to the full extent. Hope that helps!

For me I seem to get way better tingles when I listen to ASMR through my PC speakers. I have no clue why, but it's what I do when I'm immune for headphone ASMR! P.S: The title says "Bianural" by the way. Just thought I'd let you know. :P
@LordStang
@LordStang 9 жыл бұрын
I see nothing wrong with that- "Bia" is a river in Africa where all the springboks live and "Nural" was a rock band. So, maybe Nichole is trying to say something by that... Sorry, I'm just kidding, too much coffee today. Good eyes though! ;)

my tingle immunity comes and goes, its because i listen to the videos too much so i stop for awhile and try a new trigger or something i haven't tried in awhile, it always works. I think asmr is either something you get or don't, you can't develop it or lose it, ur brain builds a tolerance to it. just take a break and then get your tingle on.

tingles happen naturally, when we need them. Once the body has enough, they stop. Stop listening works, because it gives our body time to buildup the need. However if your a tingle junky, and arent we all lol, then they can be brought back, forced back. Changing artists, exploring different triggers, steering clear of your favorite triggers. I have found a way to tingle, that is hard to explain......I reckon our whole head is a tingle receptor. Not only our ears, but our eyes, nose and throat ar

And is there a way to develop ASMR sensitivity? I've been following the community since Whispering Life first started making whispering videos, and I've been watching ASMR videos each and every night ever since... But that's just what makes me feel cosy and relax, but NO TINGLES EVER... :( And yes, thank you so soo much for what you're doing!!!
@SpringbokASMR

I have heard people say they have done it, but I largely suspect it is difficult and unusual to just develop it. However, I will say that people who aren't distracted by the tingles seem to get a lot more out of videos in certain ways. They become naturally better listeners, learn things, and get motivated. This can happen to Tingle Heads like me, too. But I've heard amazing stories from people who just watch for comfort, so please keep watching and getting cozy.

I didn't even know what ASMR was before today, but I knew the feeling of certain noises and voices sending shivers down my back and making me feel calm and secure. So I wanted to say thank you for helping me realise what that feeling was, and putting a word to the feeling (which I shall now seek out like crack, haha.), and triggering that feeling like 10 times in this video.
