What’s happening in this Life movie clip?
ISS commander Ekaterina Golovkina (Olga Dihovichnaya) performs a space walk to find and fix the problem, which turns out to be Calvin. Calvin attacks her and ruptures her spacesuit's coolant system. As her suit fills with coolant, Golovkina blindly makes her way to the airlock. She and the crew realize that Calvin will re-enter the station if they let her in, so she chooses to stay outside and drowns in her spacesuit.

What’s the Life movie about?
In the near future, a group of international scientists were sent to explore the planet Mars in the International Space Station (ISS). The Pilgrim capsule has just returned from an eight-month journey after collecting samples on Mars. Hit by debris, it veered off course and forces one of the members of the ISS, International Space Mission, Rory Adams (Ryan Reynolds from Deadpool and The Change-Up), to perform a dangerous spacewalk to retrieve it. The operation is successful and the samples are studied by the team of scientists on board, who discover evidence of life on Mars. They obtained a soil sample from Mars that contained a dormant cell. After a series of attempts, they awakened this cell that was growing day by day. During an experiment, the living being attacked the scientists and escaped from the highly sealed laboratory through an internal air duct. These horrified scientists, on one hand they had to protect themselves from the death of this deadly creature, on the other hand they had to eliminate it before it was too late. However, this intelligent alien would do anything to survive.

1:38 they made Calvin way too smart. He knows what's inside an astronaut suit and where everything is? How tf he know any of that? 99% of people don't even know that. Only people who work at NASA or have educated themselves on space should know how those suits work and where everything is inside. You think Dolphins and Apes know what's inside an astronaut suit? Does Calvin have access to Wikipedia or something?

Yea, the alien may just be breaking and pulling things because it has a basic understanding of things functioning beneficially for humans when those things (like space suits) are not broken. However, the way I interpreted it when I saw the movie, and I still think it is meant to be interpreted that way, is that Calvin is trying to get into the suit and broke things in its attempt to do so. That's why he is crawling all over her. He is looking for a way in.

This would be a great sequel Calvin is not unkillable. He couldn’t penetrate space suit ‘s, sleeping pods, or his containment pod. He is strong, smart & slight resistance to fire. Bullets are more likely harmful to him need’s time to grow back limbs. They had opportunities on trapping this thing; If she is going to give her life least let her in the air lock & have her seal the door behind her, that way Calvin is trapped in.( they don’t think) I honestly think Earth could trap him at least. Given that it’s camera’s almost everywhere, yeah very do-able.

This movie was SO bad. "Lets investigate a lifeform in a lab which is in no way, shape or form sealed off from the rest of the station".. Which lab uses the exact same ventilationsystem as the rest of the structure !?!?.
