@@howey935 True. He was a complete asshole.I took Aikido for a few years and one of the Sensei at the dodo had met Segal a few times throughout the years. He said that Segal, prior to making movies, was highly respected in Aikido and was highly skilled in the art. However, he changed after going Holly wood and started to believe his own press. He got together with Lebrock and the rumors of domestic abuse started to surface and people in the Aikido ecosystem lost all respect for him and simply couldn't understand what happened as Segal had never exhibited that type of behavior. By that time Segal could have cared less. He really screwed up Lebrock mentally, I think she left her career behind to get away from Segal who wasn't a great actor but still did OK at the box office at the time of their divorce. He runs like a freaking special Olympian, but you're right, I wouldn't want to tangle with him even now that he's older and fatter.

Bill Paxton was a gifted actor able to play such a variety from one role to the next. Look, for example, how different his character here is from his goofy "I think I'm such a player" car salesman character in "True lies", or his stiff-upper-lip snooty aristocrat character in "Titanic", or his rural Oklahoma weather scientist in "Twister". Another example of someone who's played such a diverse range of characters is Dustin Hoffman
