What’s happening in this Weird Science movie clip?
Lisa (Kelly Lebrock from The Woman in Red) meets Gary's (Anthony Michael Hall from The Breakfast Club) parents, Al (Britt Leach) and Lucy (Barbara Lang), who, to Gary's embarrassment, are shocked and dismayed at the things she says and her frank manner. What’s the movie Weird Science about?
Two teen nerds, Gary (Anthony Michael Hall from The Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles) and Wyatt (Ilan Mitchell-Smith), use a computer program to design their ideal woman. An electrical accident brings her to life in the form of the beautiful and lovely Lisa (Kelly Lebrock from The Woman in Red). She befriends Gary and Wyatt and helps them stand up to their bullies Ian (Robert Downey Jr. from Iron Man and Avengers) and Max (Robert Rusler from A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge).
However, the boys must hide Lisa’s existence from Chet (Bill Paxton from Titanic and Aliens), Wyatt’s big brother.

At the end of the day, she proves his Dad is nothing more than a coward underneath it all, and his mother is only worried about her own feelings, as she is used to shaming the boy into submission.

So in like 93’ when I was seven my grandparents got me one of those 13” TVs with a VCR. Being cheap.. she grabbed a few movies from the bargain bin. Weird Science and Revenge of the Nerds. I must have watched them 200 times. Til I graduated high school I was convinced I was going to be a comedian or rock star lol. The comedy and love for it came from these old movies I’d sit and watch alone when I was scared tho. Weird how that works. Comedy was an escape.. still is. Laughter is one of the best things we got as humans.
