1:01 I like this moment. After the recent Marvel movies, this moment has kind of acquired a new meaning. Like having the favor of the people is one of his "super powers". Iron Man uses mini repulsors fly his suit to him. Thor uses an old Asgardian enchantment to summon Mjolnir to his hand. And Zorro here can always rely on the people to toss him his hat.

@Adam Borden Fun fact the real Captain America was a Mexican: Sargent Jose Mendoza Lopez in WWII - joined the marines after he got tired of his low pay in boxing, he was small and light weight like Steve Rogers. He got both the Mexican and USA Medal of Honor and an Aztec Eagle (highest honor Mexico grants military or not) after he downed 250 Germans covering the US troops after getting flanked while taking 2 shots from a Panzer tank and getting up each time during a position defense that lasted from 11AM to 6:30~ PM outside of Brussels in Belgium.

The zorro films really nailed the tone when it comes to action adventure. I'd put these movies right up there with the mummy.

Despite what many thought of this sequel, it really was exceptional. As before, the stunt performers were PHENOMENAL. Absolutely... heh... legendary. And Antonio's charm, intensity, comic timing, and professional skill as an actor always shone through. "TLoZ" wasn't really going to top "TMoZ". But... so what? It was a worthy sequel in many ways.

In 1850, guns were still not yet common weapons to carry as they were not practical yet. You had to reload each after you fired, revolvers and automatic reload weren’t invented yet. Swords were still common even until the end of the 1800s.
