Sir Terry Pratchett's novel, "Maskerade" deals with the Discworld's version of opera; the plot leans heavily on "The Phantom of the Opera," but there is a mention of other Discworld Diva's, including a mention of Dame Gigli and her trampoline. I always wondered what the reference was, and now I know! Thank you Sir Terry, Sandi and QI!
