The camels in Oman.... thanks for the memory.... I lived/worked there for 2 years way back ... 1979 - 1981... I worked for their military... communications... I well remember the camels. Very proud people the Omani's, I have only fond memories and they were very much like the British with their sailing and trading history. Thankyou @binge for these memories.

Some years ago I was visiting the market in the town of Guelmim, in the south of Morocco. A charming gentleman tried to sell me his beautiful white camel. She was from Mali, and he explained that Malinese camels are the best, as they can scent water at greater distances than other camels. She was indeed beautiful, but I had to sadly decline, on the basis that I probably couldn't get her on a plane back to Blighty.

How do I make a reservation to live at the home where Alan Davies ends up? I would love to spend my golden years listening to his elevation-based travel advice.

How indeed ? He has a wife and children who will have their own ideas. Perhaps you should contact them...

The banter on the last set of QIs has been really fun, with some funny little personal stories. Thanks for exporting these to the US where things have been a bit toxic tinged lately.

I love QI, and I sincerely wish my Facebook friends would click on a video. They will not. And therefore they will never understand the glory of UK panel shows!! How they can stumble through life without this show, Eight Out Of Ten Cats Does Countdown, and Would I Lie to You (and a quick honorable mention to Taskmaster!) is beyond me & it makes me quite sad for them.

The key word is Facebook, or anything marginally related to Zuckerberg. The fact that you know people still using it for information tells you all you need to know. Also, you might want to put Only Connect on your list of UK quiz shows.

Why does neither Alan nor Bill have a Union Jack, BBC?

Possibly they are embarrassed by Brexit and/or the so-called Britain First adjacency of the Union Jack.

Is Desiree Burch just there fo fill up the numbers, as this is only about the second time she has been on the show , and not that funny. whereas the other 3 appear quite a lot in these episodes? To balance out, I like Shappi Khorsandi, Sindhu Vee for examples...

@@Trillock-hy1cfShe's a typical American in that regard. I personally find her quite ignorant and prejudiced. No idea what business she has, being on a panel such as this. How did she even become popular in the UK?

Understand that this show is filmed over many hours and edited. Alan and Bill were clearly in hysterics, or testerics if you will, and highly entertaining. Despite Sandi telling them to shut up constantly. It’s billable. Desiree is very funny and very intelligent, and maybe this just isn’t her venue, especially when it comes to editing for *particular* audiences.
