@@joose315 Oh, that is so comforting to know the mansion is in the process of getting a renovating facelift. I know the expenses will be astounding, but it's all worth it to preserve this iconic household that once stood as a prominent fixture years ago. I hope the district council will seriously consider doing the same with the debilitating neighborhoods in upstate Binghamton.

@Dyne's Lair Then I guess to my estimation, and the way you describe what you'd seen years ago, it's safe to say the mansion is gutted and later torn down😟. How sad😢. Let's make 1 thing brutally clear: IF YOUR NOT A COLLEGE STUDENT YOU WON'T FIND AN APARTMENT. This is totally fucking sad that property owners only rent to college students. If you are the working tax payer moving this town forward, your not going to find a Decent apartment in a decent to upscale neighborhood in binghamton, so don't hold your breath. I take home close to $2000 a month by myself and I live in the Hood. Not because I want to but because Landlords only rent to students, exclusively. This is a blight on Binghamton.

@@edithnogueira7899 lol if you want to go on a rant about road conditions that's fine but at least try to get your facts straight. The underpass you are posting about is on Glenwood Ave. Just two years ago the city put a new pumping station in, fixed the curbing and repaved the street. It is excellent shape. Repairing the bridge itself, in any way, would open the city to millions in liability and would never be allowed by the railroad. County taxes which you mentioned would never be used on any city street or bridge. The city has plenty of infrastructure needs but repairing private property like railroad structures is not among them.
