I used to make this pie all the time! the recipe I found (which I got from a friend in a video game orchestra that was playing the undertale soundtrack) was less of a pudding pie like this one, and more like a pumpkin pie without the pumpkin, and all the butterscotch flavor was actually in the whipped cream. I was subjected to bad butterscotch meringue pies growing up... Overly sweet, with a split, runny meringue, with a tasteless crust made with no salt, flour and crisco, and usually with a soggy bottom. It is my mother's favorite. She makes it at every occasion. This sounds like it would be a much better pie. Cinnamon... Yum.
