Fun Otter Fact: Otters constantly clean and groom their fur to maintain it's beneficial properties. They essentially have two layers of fur covering their bodies that trap a layer of air between them. The dense fur and trapped air help keep the otters warm under water 😋

I love the way he dries himself on the floor towels. My dog Sandy did the same thing. Do you have to treat Bingo for fleas? When you take him on his park excursions he is constantly rubbing himself on the ground and I was wondering do fleas like otter?

PLEASE be careful!! It’s very common for people to kidnap wild animals from their habitat and try to sell them. Bingo came from a captive line and never would have been wild, but otters are a much more popular pet there than here (though still not common by any means). Do very extensive research not just on the laws for owning such a pet, but also the money it takes to care for one (rare animal vets can be a hell of a haul to get to and can charge extreme rates) and their extensive needs, and on whatever source you will be using to procure one.
