Karera was my gateway to Bini. I was wondering why so many schools would use it as a part of their graduation ceremony and so I had to check it out and boy was I shocked by how good the song was. SKL I was in a depressive state last April and I just couldn't get myself out of the seemingly deep slump I was feeling and then hearing Karera's message of hope and that life is not a race just resonated with me. That is the beauty of music of being able to put into words and sounds some of the feelings that you have and resonate with the audience. To make them feel connected. I started to binge watch their MVs and love their songs like Huwag Muna tayo Umuwi, I feel good and born to win and I fell hard into their discography. Then I started watching their chaotic and non-idol image videos and I was just laughing so hard. I eventually also found their Bini Chronicles and the interviews they made that showed more than their chaotic personality and I just loved them like my nieces that I wanted to see succeed. You see I don't think I was their target audience as a geeky male who likes anime and robots. I wasn't really into music but somehow I wanted to listen to them. They inspired me and in a way saved me. I may be a late bloomer but as I once heard you becoming a fan is just at the right time when they either needed one or you needed them. Stan Bini PH!

I can totally relate omgg. I think it's only bout 4 months ago since i became a Bloom and guess what, they just became part of me ever since, my everyday life is just about BINI i should say 😂 btw i'm glad you got out of that situation (depressive state). It's cool that we both got BINI as our way out of it.

Definitely agree to this, well I've known the group since their Trainee days but ain't active on the groups content like their moments from Live, twitter, etc.. but I was listening to their music like Born To Win and Golden Arrow days but it was stop since I'm very much active on the K-pop side because I was too busy idolizing Blackpink, Twice, bts, BIGBANG, etc.. but during 2023 I started to like SB19 Much more (same story I known also them during a bit early days (During Aja Aja tayo sa jeju - probably A'tins will know this if you're really that old enough as A'tin or if you deep dive about them)... then during 2023 I was exploring other genres til' I started to like more old musics (opm and western) and since I already like the genre of rock before I just explored more songs of previous artist like A7x, MCR, and more oldies... then yea as the time goes by... alot of problems started to build up since 2023 to 2024 then this 2024 alot of things happend like SUPER like I face alot of major problems in my life that literally gives me a huge life lessons :)).. but during that days (March -> May) I was too broken (not in love but in life or as a person) since I was too fragile as a person I feel hopeless and my trust issues were too high to the point even my close friend (4 yrs of friendship) is I didn't trust that person at all also since that person was my classmate since then and up until now actually :)) And yea alot of things going on and always gets end up daydreaming things and hoping that the heavy feeling I felt during those days will be gone someday... and yea while I was on vacation I started to reflect and re-think my life choices before and the mistakes I did til' I come up suddenly listening to BINI's songs (i tried) then yea I got hooked up then starting on June i found myself binge watching everything about BINI (old kumu live, old interviews, old vlogs, old podcast, and alot of more) then alot of their songs like Here with you, karera, 8, Kapit lang, Diyan ka lang, na na nandito lang, etc.. gives me the empty piece that I was looking for and gives me meaning of life and then yeaa during june til' now... I found myself found the things i was looking like... I started to realize how unhealthy I am because of those times... to the point I started to do exercise and reading books and yup it's because of BINI:)) ALL I CAN SAY OR TO BE SHORT IS "BINI" LITERALLY GIVES ME MEANING ON WHAT LIFE IS AND AN EYE-OPENER TO SEE HOW BEAUTIFUL LIFE IS AND WHY I HAVE TO CONTINUE MY JOURNEY INSTEAD OF GIVING UP.... BINI SAVES ME!! thats why I promise myself to not give up on them as a BLOOM and going to protect them at all cost and no matter what happens i'm gonna stick to them :))... even tho they don't know me:)) I'm proud of them and I'm proud to be bloom even tho I was late to be active.

I am a bloom since their SHA days, then as they bloomed with their popularity right now, babalik pa rin ako sa kantang 'to na pinakamalakas ang impact sa buhay ko. Perfect timing kasi ung song sa akin upon release last year. I quoted it pa nga as my song of the year, I failed (well not exactly failed, but rather conditional and still not able to pass the board exam last May 2023 along with my batchmates) but then I came back stronger and wiser for November 2023 and got my license. The song really fits what I felt the most upon passing my exam.

KARERA is indeed Bini's top 1 song, sobrang ganda ng mv, melody, message, choreography, at overall na kabuoan.(for me, especially yung soft rap ni oiah🔥☺️)
@Joshen_MarientАй бұрын
Bear with me real quick...the song paints a movie scene...the intro up to the 2nd chorus is where your friends and family would pat your shoulder with their words of comfort. The instrumental break is where you finally break down and cry hard with your friends letting it happen. Here comes the rap part where you get back up on your feet in a fierce way. Then Maloi comes in with the 3rd chorus as you are still wiping off tears. Finally, the "soft rap" in the end wraps up as a gentle positive reminder. Most people do not realize that aside from the lyrics, the music composition and production played the huge part on how the song gets its emotional impact. Btw, the song's best part is how it used the "Anti-chorus" (look it up on google folks). Cheers 🤙

Actually ito yong pinakapaborito kong kanta nila. Hindi buo araw ko kapag hindi ko to napatugtog o napakinggan kahit isang beses lang sa isang araw. Relaxing kasi at ang Ganda ng message. Saka yong beat at tono, for me parang pinagsamang lullaby at masayang kanta. Mahilig kasi ako sa mga lullaby tunes of music. Pero yong kantang 'to nilagyan ng flavor na mas lalo ko pang nagustuhan. 😊 Very inspirational song talaga. Real talk naman kasi talaga. Saka yong kantang 'to ay palaging nagpapaalala sa atin. Basta nasa inyo na kung paano n'yo inintindi yong song. Basta nagpapaalala ito sa atin. 😊😊😊

thanks for the analysis - I did not notice the ascending and descending chord progressions and what they could represent. Karera is a masterpiece that has achieved anthem status.

Dude, ganda ng pagkaexplain mo neto! Karera is my most favorite song of BINI. Lyrics wise at music, top notch talaga at nakakainspire.

Thank you bro! Karera is the first song i listened to since i became a bloom. Inspiring talaga 💯💯💯

JKent -- Thank you for pointing out that Karera starts with the IV chord. In an ensemble setting, moving from the IV chord to establish the key can require careful voice leading, especially in Bini’s vocal arrangement, where smooth transitions between chords are crucial. If we consider the iii and vi chords as tonic substitutions, the IV chord can resolve to them via the V chord. You are absolutely right-this chord progression leads to interesting ascending and descending cadences that are unpredictable, adding depth and interest to Karera. It is indeed a rare gem and deserves to be preserved in the OPM catalogue. I hope you agree.
@officialjkent4 ай бұрын
Absolutely agree brother. V is just an amazing chord and i even consider it as a "pathway" towards somewhere else not just to I which is a common cadence. It really depends on what the composer might wanna tell us i should say and yah, hopefully my future kids would be able to listen to this song 💯
