I don't doubt other nations would eventually capture and reverse engineer some of the equipment. I'd wager it wouldn't take the brightest minds of the time too long to figure some of the tech out, modern rifles and night vision for instance. The means to reproduce the more advanced stuff wouldn't exist (guided munitions or computer systems), but I assure you all the major nations would take notice. There would be a major leap in military tech once the UK or USA got their hands on it, Germany would be too screwed to make any use of it, but if they can capture some equipment in battle of kaliningrad they could use it against the Russian army also. If they send some back to Germany for research this will also open it up to espionage from the allies. I also believe even if the modern Russian military was fully mobilized it couldn't hope to control territories outside Europe and Asia. One thing not mentioned in the video is how much they rely on imports for things like microchips and other military materials. Without modern day China also going back in time they will need to create from scratch a whole industry, and might even need to invade parts of China for a guaranteed supply of rare earth minerals.

God the amount of "people" in the comments who straight up did not watch the video. Binkov says modern Russia absolutely steamrolls Germany so hard that they invade imperial Japan early and deny the US their sphere of influence in Asia. Cold war era equipment in a defensive war against early ww2 equipment is not even a question of who wins, not even counting anything Russia has produced in the last 30 years. Russia is struggling in Ukraine because their military is designed for international force projection, what with the nuclear arsenal and insistence on maintaining a large navy and large missile stockpile. It wasn't designed for a rapid surgical strike into a recently modernizing military country. But faced with an all or nothing existential threat, the modern Russian military would wipe the floor with nazi germany in a defensive war.
@patriktoth6258 Жыл бұрын
Even in a offensive war. There's no way for germany to intercept russian planes even with the latest WW2 fighters. It would be a reversed situation. For those who say that Russia showed too much incompetence in the war in Ukraine for this scenario to be realistic, I remind you that in this scenario Russia would be actually defending itself, so morale would be much higher, and level of tech advantage would be immense. Modern PC with a clever programmist would make mockery of even most advanced Enigma coding, so Russians would basically read every message sent by German radio network. Precison guided munitions could take out such crucial targets like Schweinfurt ball bearings factories and Ruhr dams with ease, ruining German industry. Same goes for crucial fuel facilities like refineries, or bridges on major rivers... Against Ukraine with relatively modern air defences, Russia came close to completely blacking out electricity. Imagine this against 1941 Germany...
@DIREWOLFx75 Жыл бұрын
"For those who say that Russia showed too much incompetence in the war in Ukraine" Anyone who thinks that are the incompetent ones. Because seriously, anyone gullible enough to believe in the western propaganda faerytales are incapable of rational thought. Anyone who actually bothered LOOKING at what happened rather than listening to the fancy wishful thinking of the west, will notice that despite having massive numerical disadvantage, having the disadvantage of attacking and the disadvantage of attacking into the biggest set of fortifications since the Maginot line, and Russia is still utterly trashing the Ukraine military. The US people that trained the Ukraine miltiary since 2014, back last March, bragged about how it was the best Nato army in the world, and how it would soon march into Moscow. Yeah, that didn't work very well now did it. Instead, we're looking at an absurd killratio advantage for Russia. Russian KIAs, somewhere in the 10-14 thousand range, plus a similar number from the formed DPR/LPR, who up until recently had distinctly inferior equipment. Less than 400 captured by Ukraine. Ukraine KIAs, above 300 thousand, probably above 400 thousand. Minimum of over 20 thousand captured by Russia(those are the confirmed ones). Probably over 30 thousand. "Russia would be actually defending itself" So, you completely missed all the times western leadership has by now admitted that this war was planned and created by the west? Most prominently, Angela Merkel, TWICE. Did you miss how members of the EU parliament just over a month ago held a conference about how to "decolonise" Russia? Strange how similar that was to the Wannsee conference. Or did you miss the publication "Extending Russia" from Rand in 2019? Wherein arguments are made for how to best destroy Russia, by forcing it into war with Ukraine. Just to take a FEW of the many blatantly obvious examples that have floated to the surface by now. "so morale would be much higher" Maybe you should try asking the rank and file among the Russian troops instead of people incapable of telling the truth? Troops with poor morale does NOT consistently defeat an enemy who has a 3 to 1 numerical advantage over them like Ukraine had most of 2022.

I am pretty tired of seeing people claiming that nazi Germany could actually win a war against modern day Russia (I mean… they couldn’t win against 1940s soviet union but somehow they would be able to win against an army with technology 80 years ahead, whatever…) so now I will compare the military equipment of the russian army (as of 2022) and an "ideal german army" (doing so with the 1941 one would be too easy). The "ideal german army" is a german army with all the technology they managed to produce throughout the entire war and with their peak production numbers for each category. The categories analyzed will be: Infantry squad composition, tanks, armored vehicles, helicopters, aircrafts, surface vessels, submarines and anti-aircraft capabilities (if you think I have to add other categories please let me know). This reply will also be pretty long so it will be divided in multiple comments.

German infantry squad (1944/45): composed of 1 squad leader (stg44 or MP40), 1 deputy squad leader (MP40 or captured ppsh) 1 machinegunner (MG42 or MG34), 1 assistant machine gunner (kar98k), 1 senior riflemen (G43) and 4 riflemen (kar98k); there might be 2 or 3 panzerfausts. This is the tipical composition of the late war and is the one with the most firepower, I did not include special units. All soldiers have a stahlhelm (steel helmet) for protection from artillery fragments and have a late war camouflage pattern (Splittertarnmuster for the army and Platanenmuster, Rauchtarnmuster, Palmenmuster, Eichenlaubmuster, Erbsenmuster for the waffen SS. There is also the Leibermuster which was also able to absorb infra-red but it was produced in very low numbers) Russian infantry squad (2022): composed of 1 squad commander (AK-74M with GP25), 1 senior rifleman (AK-74M with GP25), 1 machinegunner (PKP/PKM ), 1 assistant gunner (AK-74M), 1 grenadier (AK-74M and RPG-7v2), 1 assistant grenadier (AK-74M) and a marksman (SVD Dragunov). Sometimes the marksman is replaced by a riflemen with an AK-74M. All soldiers have a 6B47 aramid fibre helmet for protection from artillery fragments, a 6B46 plate carrier containing 6B45 body armor for individual protection and have EMR digital pattern camouflage. Comparison: Regarding the armament the russian squad is superior in nearly every aspect: despite the numerical superiority of the german squad the russian one has more automatic firepower because every soldier has an automatic weapon and despite the higher fire rate of the MG42 the PKP has better sustained fire capabilities and higher accuracy. The German have more long range weapons but most of the engagements occur at distances below 300 metres and the german squad also lacks the optics for accurate long range firefights while the russian Dragunov is scoped. It is also worth noticing that the russian have two portable granade launcher which are very useful both at long and medium range. For protection the russians have a huge advantage as they have better helmets (made of aramid fibre instead of steel) and body armor. The russian 6B45 body armor is rated GOST 6A (in theory) which should be able to stop a 7,62x54mmR at 10 metres but due to corruption inside the russian military many soldiers are issued worse types of body armor (allegedly around GOST 2 or 3 which should still be able to stop a 7,62x39mm or a 5,45x39mm at 10 metres). Though not as good as its contemporaries and, if GOST 2, not enough to stop the bullet of a kar98k at close range the russian body armor is definitely better than the nothing the germans have. The russian EMR digital camouflage pattern is a better and more performing pattern than its german contemporaries of the 1940s. It is also worth noting that, at least in theory, the russian units have scopes, night vision, KRUS Information control and communications system and combat radios as part of their ratnik kits and although limited in numbers because of the internal corruption of the russian army there are some units equipped with them that would be even better than their german counterparts and could do raids in the german rear lines. Also all the russian infantry is mechanized or motorized so every russian infantry squad has a BMP or a BTR to support them.

German tanks: I will not consider the german tanks considered (by the german high command) obsolete even in the late war (mid 1944 onwards) as though numerous they would be even worse than modern armored scout cars so in this situation, similarly to what happened in the real late war, the german generals would consider their use just a waste of crewmen. Said so the tanks “ideal” germany would have are 8500 Panzer IVs, 6000 Panzer Vs “Panther”, 1349 Panzer VI “Tiger I”, 492 Panzer VIs “Tiger II”, 2 Panzer VIII “Maus”, 10000 stug IIIs and 1100 stug IVs for a total of 27443 tanks and assault guns (circa as the numbers of Panthers and stugs are approximated). I remind you that these are the total production numbers of the entire war and that germany never fielded this many tanks all at once. Now let’s see the armor thickness and penetration power of these tanks: stug III: no more than 80mm (front); at most 85mm of penetration at 1000 metres Panzer IV: no more than 80mm (front); at most 85mm of penetration at 1000 metres stug IV: no more than 80mm (front); at most 85mm of penetration at 1000 metres Panzer V “Panther”: no more than 100mm (front of the turret); at most 150mm of penetration at 1000 metres Panzer VI “Tiger I”: no more than 100mm (front); at most 193mm of penetration at 1000 metres Panzer VI “Tiger II”: no more than 185mm (front of the turret); at most 193mm of penetration at 1000 metres Panzer VIII “Maus”: no more than 260 mm (front of the turret); at most 230mm at 1000 metres Russian tanks: I will consider russian tanks (as of january 2022) and I will also add their stockpiles of older soviet armor because I think that in this scenario, being drastically outnumbered, the russians would use these tanks to arm the soldiers of the other soviet republics (which have not time traveled) and so plug the gaps in the frontline. Said so Russia had (as of 2022) circa 20 T-14 Armata, circa 70 T-90Ms, 350 T-90As, 170 T-80BVMs, 200 T-80BVs, 110 T-80Us, 840 T-72B3Ms, 850 T-72B3s and 650 T-72BAs plus 200 T-90s, 3000 T-80BVs/T-80Us, 7000 T-72s/T-72As/T-72Bs, 2500 T-64s, 800 T-62s, and some hundreds of T-54s/T-55s (the others were sold to african countries because they are outdated). I remind you that these are only the tanks available to Russia in 2022 not the ones of the entire soviet union or the total production numbers, otherwise they would outnumber by far the german tanks. Following there are basic statistics (armor protection and penetration capabilities) of the base variants of russian and soviet tanks: T-55: at most 205mm on the turret front, at least 130mm at 2km T-62: at most 214mm on the turret front, at least 150mm at 2km T-64: 575mm against HEAT rounds (without ERA), at least 150mm at 2km T-72: 600mm against HEAT rounds (without ERA), at least 150mm at 2km T-80: 650mm against HEAT rounds (without ERA), at least 150mm at 2km T-90: 850mm against HEAT rounds (without ERA), at least 150mm at 2km As you can see all the base variants (because is important to consider that upgraded variants perform significantly better than the base varian which is often some decades older) can not be penetrated even by the “mighty” 88mm cannon of the tiger tank and can deal without problems with everything the german army had in the second world war. The only exception is the base T-55 which could be indeed be destroyed by the heavier late war german panzers but this issue can be solved easily by adding kontakt-1 ERA: this ERA decreases penetration by 55% (on average and it also depends on the type of round but this is true for the shells used during the second world war) so this way even a T-55 can survive against a maus. Note that I used the highest penetration armor thickness on both german and russian tanks (usually on the front) but on the sides armor is less protective. Comparison: all of the russian tanks not only are basically invulnerable to their german counterparts but are also equipped (except maybe T-55s) with night vision (or thermals on the more modern ones), fire control systems, hunter-killer capabilities (only the more modern ones) and other features that make them simply superior in every way to even the heaviest of the german tanks. I does not matter how much you hype a panther tank a T-62 will always oblitarate it, let alone a T-72B3 (most common russian tank).

German armored vehicles: despite the german army being well know for being highly mechanized this is more a false myth as for the entire war the vast majority of the german infantry divisions used horses. Still panzer grenadier divisions were equipped, on top of tanks, with many armored cars and halftracks mounting machine guns. Germany used various models and many foreign modes taken from conquered nations during the entire war, here I will describe the most common ones but it does not require a genius to understand that the performances of two slightly different models of halftracks with an MG slapped on are basically the same agains a modern IFV armed with a 20mm autocannon. Said so “ideal” Germany would have circa 2400 sd.kfz 221 (and variants) armored cars, 470 sd.kfz 231 (and variants), 478 sd.kfz 234, 6600 sd.kfz 250 and 15200 sd.kfz 251. sd.kfz 250 and 251 are open top half tracks lightly armored and armed with a MG42 machinegun (note that the machine gunner is exposed), they can barely withstand small arms fire and can transport an infantry squad.. sd.kfz 221 and 231 are armored cars with a turret equipped with a MG34 machinegun, the gunner is not exposed and they offer a little more protection against small arms fire but they can not transport an infantry squad. sd.kfz 234 is an armored car mounting a pak 40, it has a more powerful armament but the protection is still the one of an armored car. Russian armored vehicles: the russian army (like any modern army) is highly mechanized and every infantry squad is supported either by an IFV or by an APC. Russia’s main IFVs are the BMP-2 (active 3000, reserve 1500) and the BMP-3 (active 650) while their main APCs are the BTR-80 (active 14000) and the BTR-82A (active 6000). Without considering its consistent reserves of 7000 BMP-1s, 500 BTR-70s, 4800 BTR-60s and 5550 MTLBs which despite being outdated for today's standards are more than enough for a war against a 1940s army. The BMP-2 Has good protection against small caliber firearms and a decent one against 30mm rounds (just on the front). Can carry an infantry squad and is armed with a 30mm autocannon, a ATGM (usually a KONTURS or a KORNET) and a PKT machine gun (the gunner is in a turret) The BMP-3 Protection is pretty much the same as the BMP-2 but it has as armament both a 30mm autocannon and a 100mm cannon (on top of ATGMs and a PKT machine gun) The BMP-1 has a protection comparable to the one of the BMP-2 (even if it is a littler more lightly armored) and is equipped with a 100mm cannon, an ATGM and a PKT machine gun. Like the other IFVs can carry a complete infantry squad The BTR-80 Has good protection against small caliber firearms and can even survive some hits by a 30mm autocannon on the frontal armor. Can carry a complete infantry squad and is armed with a 14,5 mm heavy machine gun in a turret (the gunner is protected). The BTR-82A is literally just a BTR-80 with a 30mm autocannon instead of the heavy machine gun (and a little improved armor) The BTR-70 and BTR-60 have similar performances to the BTR-80 but have worse crew ergonomics and other minor differences that make them obsolete for modern standards but still more than good for dealing with 1940s armies The MT-LB is in theory used just as an artillery tractor and for logistical purposes but against a 80 years older army it can still serve its purpose. It's armed only with a PKM machine gun (in this case the gunner is exposed) and can not withstand 30mm bullets like heavier IFVs or APCs but can still carry an infantry squad and protect it against the MG42s mounted on german halftracks. Not every russian IFV has thermals but still a relevant number of them has generation 2 thermal sights like the BMP-2M and the BMP-3 (is a complicated topic because currently russia is producing BMPs with and without thermals at the same time and is hard to find exact numbers about it but I thought that this was worth noting) so this gives them a huge advantage against german armored cars and halftracks. Comparison: The Russian army not only has more armored vehicles but also better ones. All german armored vehicles can be destroyed by just a few hits by an autocannon while the only german armored car capable of destroying a russian BMP is the sd.kfz 234 with its Pak 40 anti tank gun but even “ideal” Germany doesn’t have a lot of them and they are more of a “glass cannon” considering that they are still vulnerable to a BMPs autocannon. The MT-LB is for sure the weaker russian armored vehicle but it does not matter much because it would likely get used as an APC and it would deliver troops just a few 10s of metres away from the front lines and then retreat like an “armored taxi”. In the end, yes russian IFVs can be destroyed by a german tank but they can hit back with their ATGMs or even with their autocannon against a Panzer IV or a Stug and German tanks are vulnerable to so many things Russia has they would likely not have the time to be a threat to anything.

Regarding helicopters there is not much to say: Russia has them and nazi Germany doesn’t. Russia has a large variety of helicopters such as the mil mi-24 (Russia had 328 of them in 2022), the ka-52 (Russia had 116 of them in 2022) and the mil mi-28 (Russia had 112 of them in 2022) each of these attack helicopters alone carries enough missiles to be a threat even to modern tanks let alone 1940s models. To note also that I did not consider all the utility helicopters that Russia has which, if needed, can for sure be cheaply equipped to deal with 1940s vehicles and fortifications. On top of this modern helicopters have the capability to attack their targets with missiles from more than 10 km away so even in this field the germans would be hit by something they simply can’t see (and therefore deal with). Air Forces comparison: a deep analysis on the modern russian air force and the 1940s luftwaffe is not only unfair but also useless. Russia has circa 800 fighter jets of various nature while the luftwaffe could only count on propeller planes which are so slow and fly so low that they would be no match for even 1960s jets. The only jet plant nazi germany ever had was the Messerschmidt me-262 and only 1430 of them were built. This despite being ahead of other planes of the 1940s still is no match for any modern airforce as every modern jet can detect and hit its target 100s of kilometres before making contact and the me-262 simply does not have such capabilities. Just like the air force, a deep comparison of a 21st century navy with a mid 20th century one is unfair and unnecessary. The kriegsmarine was subpar even to its contemporaries and quickly lost the Atlantic due to a constant lack and mismanagement of resources. You don’t need a you tube comment to understand that modern ships, which are capable of carrying missiles and hit targets 100s of kilometres away, would dominate a navy which bases itself on battleships and cruisers which use cannons instead of missiles. Not that a navy comparison matters anyway since the complete control of the sky that the russians would easily achieve would wipe out every german ship. Even the mighty U-boots which sunk many allied convoys would be a quick work for the russians for many reasons: first the russians have far better sonars (because the USSR spent the entire cold war racing with the USA on who had the better submarine) one every ship and submarine they have, second the russians have many ways to sink a german U-boot like torpedoes from their own submarines, torpedoes from specialized planes or a missile from a surface vessel while a 1940s torpedo would probably just scratch any modern military ship and third because U-boots are not properly submarines but rather submersibles, this means that they are slower underwater and have to spend most of the time on the surface (even during the second world war the greatest enemies of U-boots were planes) so it would be easy for the russian air force to destroy them one by one. The only U-boot which can be called a real submarine is the type XXI but Germany had only 10 of them working in may 1945 and anyways are still made in the mid 40s and so their sonars and torpedoes are inferior and are also far louder than even cold war submarines.

Russian anti-air capabilities: Russia has a wide variety of SAMs to take down modern fighter jets but to destroy the propeller planes Germany had in the second world war SPAAGs are more than enough. In 2022 Russia had 480 ZSU-23-4 Shilka and 250 2K29 Tunguska SPAAGs which can take down modern planes and missiles so it wouldn’t be a problem for them to destroy propeller planes. German anti-air capabilities: The germans had many anti aircraft artillery but it was all maneuvered by hand by a human crew so it would just be unable to hit a modern jet. Is also to be considered the altitude to which modern jets fly and that this makes it even harder to spot and hit a russian jet. On top of all of this I remind you that russian jets are capable of hitting targets many kilometres away so the german anti-air crews wouldn’t probably do any damage to the russian air force. That’s it, as a source for the data (on top of common sense) I used wikipedia which, I know, is not the most reliable source but for a comment like this is more than enough. I am not an expert in the characteristics of every equipment used by the russian army so if there is someone who has a passion for these things I will gladly change the data and the information if I mad some mistakes or inaccuracies. The final part of the comment (the aircraft and navy sections) are not as complete as the others but as you can see this is comment is quite long and in the end I was a bit tired of writing obvious things and considering that, as said, Russia has jets while nazi Germany has propeller planes there is not really a need for a deep comparison. I also want to add that I do not support Russia and I am not one of those tankies saying that the russian army (as it is now) could win against the united states but, well… 1940s Germany is not 2020s USA.

After the Ukraine war, it does look like some videos could be revised: -This one still seems fine, modern technology vs. World War 2 technology is still a huge gap, certainly in the heavier weapons/machinery. -Can Russia invade Canada? No. -Russia vs. EU: Russia loss. Though looking at how that plays out still fills a video. Does not start with Russia occupying Ukraine. -Russia vs. Turkey: Turkey holds back Russia or wins -Can Russia conquer Scandanavia? Doesn't look like it. -Russia vs. China: Russia ends up defending and has to get its supplies to Siberia, China has to attack into hostile terrain in Siberia, so video is probably about the same. -US vs. Russia: Looks like US could invade pretty easily. -Russia vs. India: India defends itself -Japan invasion: Not happening But there are some new possible videos: Russia vs. Chile, or Peru, or Iran, or Kenya, ..... This is a prime example of why people say Amateurs talk about tactics, but professionals study logistics." The Soviets in 1941 didn't have the logistics to support a 1940s military how are they going to support a modern military? The modern Russian military would run out of ammunition, parts in a couple days at best. Bridges that could handle modern Russian tanks would be an issue. Recovering stuck modern tanks would also be an issue.
@DamonNomad826 ай бұрын
@@Matt-mt2vi You seem to be thinking about an entirely different scenario. The scenario being talked about was "What if MODERN RUSSIA went back to 1941", not "What if the MODERN RUSSIAN MILITARY went back to 1941". In the scenario I was addressing, the logistics "the Soviets in 1941" did or didn't have would be entirely irrelevant, as it would be replaced by the logistics of modern Russia. The entire modern nation of Russia (plus other now-independent nations adjoining it that were within the USSR's 1941 borders) would be replacing the USSR, with its modern population, industry, infrastructure and so on, not merely the military element going back and trying to be supported by the civilians, industry and so on of the 1941 USSR. While international things would be very disrupted (to get anything they didn't make themselves, modern Russia would have to try to establish trade with very confused and probably very distrustful 1941 nations outside their borders), the short-term technology gap would make the Russians unstoppable if they used their initial reserves of resources wisely and exploited the sheer terror it would inflict on the Germans, who already severely underestimated the historical Red Army and would be completely blindsided by the modern technology of present day Russia. Also, as modern Russia has a modern nuclear arsenal, they could easily use that to take out the entire 1941 Axis if more conventional combat was too costly in terms of fuel or other supplies that the Russians were running short of.
@Matt-mt2vi6 ай бұрын
@DamonNomad82 my point still stands. Also, it is just Russia, as the map show, it doesn't include what are now independent countries. You still have a problem, even if it did. Modern Russia is still dependent on all kinds of things that will not be available in 1941 parts, chemicals, and numerous other things for its equipment that are made outside of Russia. To get a better understanding look at what is already being embargod and what alot of people are demanding be embargod. Whatever stockpile they have is all they will have thereas well. This was also before they invaded Ukraine for the 2nd time. The number of equipment breakdowns was enormous. Poor maintenance and lack of spare parts availability was overcome eventually. But it required importation of numerous items. The bridges outside of Russia are still not made for Russian tanks. Admittedly, a good bit better than Western modern tanks would. But not a big deal for most of the way to Germany. Distrustful would be understatement, more likely to be viewed as a bigger threat than the Nazis. Russia/Soviets do not have very good historical relationships outside very few countries. It's unknown how many functional nuclear weapons Russia really has, the up keep of the claimed number far exceed Russia military budget. Nuclear weapons, unlike regular weapons, need a lot of maintenance to keep them operational. Some of that has to be imported, and I believe the most important item isn't even being mined yet, much less processed. A number of Russian p

To all of you who think that this is Russian propaganda, because it doesn't tell that Russian army sucks and is incapable of anything... First of all, he clearly stated that the video was made before Russian invasion of Ukraine, when some weaknesses of Russian army were exposed. Western experts also expected Russian air force to dominate the skies in Ukraine, you have quite a few articles on the Internet about them being perplexed as to what went wrong when the war started. Everybody had reasons to believe that Russian airforce was more capable than they really were, they proved themselves in Syria. Only later it turned out that what they showed there were operations of limited scale, and that they lack the ability to perform large scale operations needed to take full control of Ukrainian skies. And even that way, they still pretty much dominate the skies, albeit not having full control. Regarding logistic problems Russia is facing, they were not obvious before this war, so you cannot blame that on Binkov either. Also, about the morale, why do you think morale of the army would be the same as in Ukraine war? In Ukraine, they are sent to wage a war against a brotherly nation, a war that they don't understand, but in the scenario from the video, they would be fighting to defend their land agains nazi Germans. Their morale would be very high. And at last, it seems a lot of people here think Russian army is totally worthless because of it being portrayed that way by western media, regarding the current war. While it is obvious that Russian army is underperforming, it is certainly not worthless, and they've made some progress. For example. they've taken whole Herson area. They made significant ground in Donbas.They are slowly encircling Kiev. Mariupol will fall in a matter of days. Sumy, Kharkov, and Cheringiv are under siege, and they are moving towards encircling Ukrainian army in Donbas.

I honestly don't know what is Binkovs release schedule nor how long does it take for them to create a video, so I don't know if it made sense from their point of view. And in all honesty, I don't think end result would be much different. You could say that Russians would need more time to reach Berlin (although even in the video, Binkov predicted it would take almost a year). Many of the problems Russian army is facing is partially caused by Ukrainian army also being a modern army and not a WW2 one. For example, Russians wouldn't have to worry about SAMs, manpads, guided anti tank weapons, nor drones in 1941.

@@KAPTAINmORGANnWo4eva so idk if u would get this but even today ukrainian aircraft are also fighting russians when they are hopelessly outclassed....what i mean is that u always need aircover not just to fight but also for reconnaisance and other missions

@@AdityaSingh-fy5vv I "get" the idiotic point you're driving at, moron. The difference is that today's Ukrainian planes are actually capable of engaging with Russian ones even if they're outmatched. WWII era propeller craft can literally do nothing against modern air power and would only be semi useful for kamikaze attacks on large ground/water targets, if that.
