I like the quick disconnect system with the split tail. 👍

20 year + of experience It isn't often I see Arborist videos that I can confidently approve of. That's how I did it. The man clearly knows what he is talking about.

Omg this video allows me the ability to climb without all that fancy stuff. I'm going to get my feet off the ground tomorrow. I've got some rope and a saddle and some carabiners. You make this stuff look easy but you have years of knowledge. Safety is always first and foremost, so I'm only going up 6 feet until I feel good at this set up. I'm going to watch only this video until I get it blind folded. Lol I've watched the professional arborist but you're more like a professional instructor who knows how to present it to a beginner. I will definitely send this link to anyone I know interested in a climb. Thanks for all you do and you never asked for a thing. That's a sign of a teacher as well. They are not in it for the money.

Just got done watching a couple of your videos Bino. I have to say, I know there are others out there that probably do the same as you, but I haven't found them yet. What I mean is that I really appreciate the detail that you provide, but in a slow and methodical way that is easy to understand. Yours is the first channel I have come across that shows how to do things in a slow and easy to understand manner. Being new to this, believe me, this makes a huge difference, and is so important to someone like me. Thanks for great and understandable videos. Wish you the best. Jim

Thanks Bino! Would you recommend using the Blake's hitch or a hitch climber system for the ISA certified tree climber skills exam?
@BinoH Жыл бұрын
No, the Blake's is a good hitch but friction cord work better.

I don't see why it'd be a timed test when the most important aspect of climbing is safety. Propper safe climbing involves taking your time and making sure you are safely set up and climbing safely.
@BinoH8 күн бұрын
The reason it's timed is show that you are capable!
@That0Homeless0Guy8 күн бұрын
@BinoH capability isn't in speed it's in ability. Imagine a driving test where they time you on joining a busy road instead of on whether you do it safely when it's safe to join. Honestly sounds like they have a gimmicky "qualification" going for status rather than safety. I have many safety qualifications and not one of them is timed.
