I think 165 is a good home defense weight but I would not use it for any larger hunting like deer or black bear. It is illegal to use anything under 300 FPE for deer and 165 grain would fall well below 300FPE. I hope the longer barrels to buy come for sale before deer season.

My guess is it will not meet 800+ FPS with 200 gr slug that's why no answer about FPS with 165 grain slug. 165 grain is probably the slug they were using in the last video with 700+ feet per 2nd. The main reason purchased one is the Claims of 800+ FPS with 200 gr.

Long barrel would allow for heavy slugs to stay accurate. It will come eventually but the short barrel limits this great new platform for hunting and I want it to reach its fullest potential and be a go to hunting rifle for large game.

yea a long barrel would be a nice option Im wondering if a bottle would fit up front a 700cc carbon fiber bottle is only $100 on Ali express Im going to try one on my HP TD but I been wondering about a Tee fitting so You could have 2 bottles up front

@@danielsegner5702 Why do you need more bottle up front with a rear tank already? You thinking about eliminating the rear tank? The problem I have always had with dual front tanks is for hunting that's just more crap in the way when walking through the woods. I like that this has more real world use in mind as they designed it. But my 2 cents are worth about a penny. I really want a long barrel on it someday so I can push the lethality out farther and carry weighty slugs when doing it but I am willing to see how it works as is first. A short barrel kinda limits its hunting capabilities for now but a longer barrel will make it a perfect hunting tool I believe. Someday. Either way it still looks like the best semi auto big bore I have ever seen. I just can't wait till they get here so I can start shooting with it. I'll worry about upgrades after that.
