Water is life is the popular saying all over the world, but water that is not properly treated will be dangerous to the body, says Professor Abiodun Adebayo.
Professor Adebayo, who is currently the Vice Chancellor of the Convenant University, Otta in Ogun State, Nigeria and a member of QNET Scientific Council, disclosed this at a Bio Disc Media Workshop in Abuja on Monday.
According to the erudite scholar, Bio Disc defines wellness in the treatment of water for human consumption as revealed in the research recently done by him as a Professor of Biochemistry.
"Our discovery here today and the one I have shared with you is still part of what we do even as scientists," Professor told www.totorinews.com in Abuja.
"Now water is essential and life without water should not exist, we can't even imagine a life that has no water. In the village where they use stream water and all of that, I must also let us know here that we must treat our water( the type of water we drink).
"Water that is not properly treated will be dangerous to the body; that's one thing we need to know from here.
"The second thing we need to also know is that the Bio Disc 3, what it does is to help the wellness of our body.
He went further by explaining the functions of Bio Disc 3 in making water healthy for consumption.
"Spring water is a natural kind of water that helps the body to function very well and what this Bio Disc 3 does is to break the very large particles of water into smaller particles like spring like water that will help the normal functioning of the body and that's what it does.
"We can we also begin to look at the maximum benefit of this product from the stable of QNET Bio Disc 3 and also to see whether it can also reduce microbial load and that's exactly what we have done.
"We have seen here from the result presented to you that if it is supercharged that is it is placed over the disc over and over again means it has that tendency of reducing the microbial load, but it's just a preliminary investigation for now.
"Of course we are going to be doing other studies to validate this in other to help better the quality of life of our people.
"I have given several examples that you get the spring water. He emphasized that water must be treated before it can be restructured, hence the importance of Bio Disc 3.
"We cannot even question the source of water that's why it is recommended that we treat our water before we even restructure them, it's a wellness product, we are not saying it will help improve our bodies.
"The study we are able to come up with now is to also let us know that it's a step ahead about this product. From the ordinary man point of view, it is advisable that we ensure we treat our water and we also use our Bio Disc in other to improve the quality of water that gets into our system and our body.
