BIO MOM vs FOSTER MOM | Enemies in Foster Care?

In today's foster care video we chat about when the bio family is the enemy. Very often the foster mom is seen as a threat. The bio family feels embarassed, angry, upset and a lot of the time the foster family will get the brunt end of those emotions. They may blame you for things, or say things that you are not doing right, or try and show you that they are a better parent then you. Remember you are dealing with mental health, addiction issues, often immaturity and of course A LOT of pain. Please continue to keep trying and support the bio family even when they make you the enemy, and try to push you away
Know you are going to get at least some resistance even if it is just in the beginning. Don't take it personally. And if they think their kid can only be in pampers brand diapers then just send pampers to the visit. Don't fight it.
