I've been planting broad beans for many years as a chop and drop mulch, my sandy Perth garden soil is slowly turning rich, black and friable, plus I have broad beans in the freezer for 6 months every year...

I love your type of gardening, am applying the rule of thumb as you do to my garden, having great success. Thank you Vasili.

Appreciate all your videos Vasili... I've learned a lot from you. I live in the United States, California to be specific, and I'm wondering if there's any product on the market that comes close to the quality of your Eco Booch. I'm sure yours' is the best of the best, but I'm looking for something I can buy here. I specifically want to use it for prepping my mulch as you did in this video. Thank you!!

Good stuff Vasili. What sort of mulch if that?

I have just taken the last harvest of my snap peas and snow peas. The plants (vines) have been removed but left the roots in place. I’ve chopped all of the plants with a meat cleaver, now l have two big wheelbarrows full of the pea straw. It’s still green . Can l use it as mulch now or do l leave it to dry out. I could put it in the compost heap but it seems a waste to some degree. Robert mallacoota

I use wood chips as my mulch. Would it be worth while soaking them too?.
