Hello! Can you please help me with this problem: What is the % maximal response of the nicotine receptor when 100kg person smokes 1 cigarette? Given: Smoking one cigarette causes absorption of 1mg of nicotine (MW 162), Nicotine has Kd of 12 nanoMolar or 1.2X10^(-8) Molar, Volume of distribution = 3 L/Kg. According to my professor the answer is 63%. He used the Langmuir equation to find this. Did not show the solution so I am uncertain.
